Playing copied VCD on my DVD player
Hi, i'm having some trouble playing copied VCD's on my Sony DVD player. When i put the original in, it works fine, i.e pic and sound perfect !! When i made a copy of the VCD and tried the copied version on my DVD player it comes all blocky and unwatchable!!! I've tried it with different types of CD media but the same thing happens every time. However when playing the copied version on my comp, it works fine. Can anyone give any help to what i can do or why this is happenening??
Thanks

Chances are it is the media that you are using. Some Sonys are really picky with what cds they will play. The older ones will only play CD-RW (and a select few CD-rs). Check out vcdhelp.com and see if people have posted which CDs will play on your DVD player.
could be the program you are using also. what is your method of copying the VCD and is the VCD a store bought factory pressed VCD?
Is the one on your pc divx or other format?
Only vcd cdr disks that play in my sony dvd are vivastar never got any others to work
