i think you guys should make it so only mods and admins can vote so we get a honest review of the quality but also let the users post what they think about it so there isnt so many people voting 111 or 10 10 10 or not even looking at the sample voting and posting something they read in thier own words. This probaly wont happen tho. just a thought.

not sure if this is a dead topic or what not, but as of late the votin has grown more inconsistant, ad th posts on quality more misleading. Pardon my french mods, but u know whos talking s**t, and whos being realistic, when i start reading posts about how a slightly better than average TS is "AS GOOD AS A DVD SCREENER", i get frustrated u read the first 10 posts and the rip sounds great. then 2 hours later the ratinghas dropped form a 9 to a 7.2 and the real posts start talking about pixelation and sync problems etc..i realise everyone has their own opinion... 1 person might consider a relase a 5..another an 8 and thats all good,thats the point. however for example, when i see ppl voting ctp T3 a 3 for video, clearly there is some bias present. i know its been said that the ppl who vote low are countered by th ppl who vote high, but if the release is say.. 8ish quality, how many 10's does it take to counter a 2?im just sick of al these group affils going around saying how awesome thier stuff is.. when its not, or saying how bad every other groups stuff is, when its not, im truly thankful to everyone who is part of the scene, but i do wish the mods would tighten the reigns a bit... im not talking about the ppl who may post and say nothingabout the quality.. ppl make mistaes. or have comments thy dont know where to post.. but the ppl who are intentionally posting to discredit a group, or blatently inflating ratings or tanking a rls because of the group who released it... ban them all.. no second chancesif u cant tell the difference between a dvdscr ad a cam, u dont deserve to post or vote. a friend of mine got banned from the sight for rating lxg ctp a 6.. reason being.. the vote was inappropriately low. thats great, but what about all the ppl thatvoted it 2-4???? i wiwsh there was some way to implement a maturity/intelligence test prior to voting/posting and that groups would let the ppl make their own judgement without trying to doctor the ratings...well.. thats my 2 cents.. by the way, i dont post often, but ive been using the site 4 many years visting several times a day.. thanx for the site

also, i for one really don't bother downloading one in a million releases. also it'd just open up more people shouting "they're biased! all vcdq staff are in {x} group!!"

this is because people are idiots. i agree with above, its generally obvious who's talking crap.

tru dat.. all i can say is ban ban ban.. im not 1337.. and im not desperate... i usually check out the posts and the ratings and see if arelease is worth getting b4 i get it, therefore i hardly have a reason to post,c cuz by the time i get and actually watch it.. if i watch it.. its all been said,but when ppl rate stuff 2's and 3's, when its clearly better than half the stuff out f'em. is sad state when ppl need to trick u into d/l something so they can feel beter aboutthemselves.. ud think some honest praise would have more of an effect.. when its due, everyone in the scene deserves a shout just for theeffort they puin, but specifically groups such as nox and apm.. piss me off, their members and afils are by far the biggest bunch of flaming dillholes who rave about their own rls and flame everyone else for anythignn they do...anyways. peace out pho
