never got around to watching this movie before, and the only thing i knew was that "affleck was the bomb in phantoms".

well.

he wasn't. it wasn't. waste of 90mins. utter tripe.

I liked it, it was pretty damn eerie for the first half, right up until it goes completely hollywood (you can tell the exact SECOND the movie takes that turn) and goes shitty. It's probably Affleck's weakest performance, but the other actors do ok. The ending shot was kinda cool too.

I've seen a lot worse, I'd give Phantoms a 6/10 or somethin

Read the book DEAN KOONES its far better than the movie.Of course once you have seen the film it alters your peseption of the storry completly.Still isnt that always the case.
