is this a vcd>svcd conversion?
It looked very simular to the VCD DVD Screener released by pic.
quote:You haven't seen the sample have you? Yea, I bet esoteric used pic's 352x240 mpeg1 and stretched it out to 480x480 mpeg2 and still maintain SVCD quality. Smart guy you are aren't ya, if you don't like the group then that's your opinion. I've seen numberous posts about you ragging on them for having a bad apple here and there. I was a fan of esoteric since royal tenebaums and just finding out that they are also TCF gives me all the more reason. Get a life and stop ragging on people if you can't do better! TCF and Centropy are my favorite groups.

Huh?
Let me get this straight "VideoCD", you're saying this is a good release because they took the original VCD, stretched it, and re-released it as an SVCD? What the hell is good about that? If they don't have a new original source there is no point in re-releasing the thing as SVCD. That makes no sense at all.
I was saying that if they did do that, there would be a major quality decrease. But you can definitely tell that they must have had the source dvd from the sample, it looks way better than the vcd, I've never heard of someone reencoding a vcd to svcd and increasing quality at the same time.
