Transporter 2 dvd converting to .Mpeg Help!!!!

I was wondering since this is a dvd format I tried to convert with winavi to a mpeg2 format so my nero would burn it with a cdr and I could burn it but I could not see anyting on my cybermedia(dvd player) and so is there someway in winavi to get this movie to convert over to a format where my dvd player would reconize the format? Also is there any suggestions on which app would be my best bet in getting this conversion to burn. TIA I appreciate the help now and in the past with other problems!!

just burn the cd images onto cd, no need to extract the mpg then burn but if you must, ISObuster extract with mpeg filters

"I tried to convert with winavi to a mpeg2 format"

since you are using winavi, dont convert your file to mpeg2 format.
choose the vcd or svcd choices. you cant play mpeg2 files burned on a cdr in your cyberhome player.

Try using NeroVision. It is more powerfull than the standard Nero.

I am pretty new and I am finding it a good tool start me off in this confusing world of cinema
