Nice catch by XPDVD... Glad to see groups getting rid of this shit... I wish I can say the same for JKR which just released "Dark Water *unrated*" with 642 megs of black screen in the VIDEO_TS.VOB!

Nice catch again by XPDVD... Repack is a bold move and the bitrate was increased by a healthy bit because of it.

The original release wasn't too bad though, but this one is better. Nice to see the reencode of the extras. Usually the video quality of extras is SO bad that re-encoding them, no one will notice anyways.

Video 9/10 - Nice work... I am picky, but my standards get lowered when Paul Walker hits the screen Water is a natural enemy video and this encode looks pretty good. I feel I've been too harsh lately, so I am being nicer. I think most defects are on the source. Artifacting is there, but with all the splashing and water, I expected nothing less.

DVD-R 9/10 - No point bitching that I like movie only rips. XPDVD did a great job. I like that they re-encoded the deleted scenes to make them smaller (they are STILL 531 megs!!... And I will never look at them )...

Since every bit counts for a movie like this, get the REPACK.

Video - 9/10 - not untouched, around 4,000 though, looked great
Audio - 10/10 - 5.1, sounded awesome
Movie - 7/10 - good movie and action, would watch again

Great release by XPDVD. However, they needed a repack. Play flawlessly in my DVD player, looked great, good movie.

Everything looked okay, but they seemed to have screwed this one up as well. I havent confirmed in my dvd player, but on powerdvd if you choose special features first from the main menu, then go back to the main menu and choose languages, it takes you to special features again.
