As like the xvid this has a great picture but for me the sound is bad, sounds ok when listening on computer but like the xvid the sound sucks when burn onto a vcd or dvd.

The sound just sounds too overdriven. Totally listenable though.

V9, I'm quite happy with this, except for the really dark part in the beginning, I haven't had any reason to not like this at all! The text/subtitles on the screen is even readable!

There have been issues with sound on numerous newer releases. I have to disable Truesurround in my TV settings or only enable mono left or right audio in Xbox Media Center settings in order to get the audio to play correctly. I don't know if they use a mono source then copy it to make it 2 channel stereo but something is definitely fishy in the audio on some newer releases. Play around with your tv audio settings and also the settings on your player could allow you to disable one of the channels.

I'm not an audio buff but I would guess they tried re-encoding the mono source to stereo and fudged it somewhere. Unless its just a newer codec but that doesn't explain why burning it to dvd would still result in the same garbled, low volume, crappy sound unless you change your audio settings on the TV or player. Flame me if I am way off base and you know otherwise. Just some thoughts I had.
