What happened to the TS scene?

It's been a while since UTi, those "C" people, and Maven produced really quality TS's. I looked at mVs (Maven supplier, yeah right LOL) nfo lately, and they've really gone down the crapper, or were they always there? I remember they had one release from Maven's old cammer...then zilch, and now they're arguing that they pre silvers before the p2p people do. LOL. Really depressing, makes me realize how spoiled we were for YEARS. DTS getting taken away was bad enough...now all the good cammers have left for good it seems, and just children are left. RIP TS scene

I thought about this post for awhile and I will say this. trying to cam in the USA is nothing short of a pain in the ass. theater employees don't want to risk getting caught. (no access to empty theaters) camming in a packed theater is hell. And what large site can you pre on that isn't connected to an fbi laced network. (he.net) (at&t)

that's what happens in America when you try and supply free movies. Corporate tax evaders get less time.

people that I know think this shit comes from torrent sites anyway. i wouldn't expect anything from USA for a long time.

Plenty of empty theaters, just go during the day to some of these shady theaters in shit neighborhoods. You might have to deal with foreign subs... but fuck it.

High quality TS don't always come from US. Many of those high quality TS come from Europe as well. Still it's hard in both places.
The R5 scene has challenged the TS scene. R5 comes out fast, so who wants to go and make a TS that lasts for around 2 weeks.
The old TS groups releases lasted up to several months even more than that.
Telecine rips were rare in the beginning, and a good TS could match a telecine, but when they started to come out often, the R5 showed up.

The quality of rips is variable, now you get better quality faster. Before you got good TS but then had to wait more for above better quality rips.
