Question

I wanna know if this is possible. My mobo has onboard video, I also have a ATI 2600xt agp video card.

Is it possible to run my monitor of the onboard video? and run my tv off the agp video card? at the same time.

For example, If I want to play a game on my pc, and then have my desktop free to do whatever I need on it.

Or would this idea, just be to have two different computers?

I believe if you enable onboard video the video card won't work, at least this is the way it works with sounds cards I know. I'm pretty sure you can't run them both together.

I didn't really think it was possible. It seems like it would be easy to do, but I also don't understand the engineering behind all of this stuff.

Thanks precocious & Gimpy.
