just saw the sample not the whole thing. (no pun intented)

Posted by Mystic Slippers on 04-12-2004 11:23 AM:

Very nice indeed. Excellent pic but let down by average audio. Bit hissy and distorted.

Still, if you must see this movie, get this.

Kick Ass TS! Very nice video and excellent audio! Now THIS is what a TS should look like ALL the time! Good Looks TCR! 9/8/?

audio = kinda "dull" if u know what i mean?
movie=1st one wasnt too good, and this dont look better but i aint seen it yet.

Posted by JustMe on 04-12-2004 12:16 PM:

Slight flicker & grainy in darker scenes, but overall, a nice release.
Typical TCR stuff.
Sound was fine here.

Movie... hmm, seen better, but not too bad.

I got a question, is it me or from sample ( yes bad to judge but dont got time to grab it), is the frame rate off? or is it just the pixelation giving it a funny feel. I was not sure. It seemed slowish motion to me but might just be pixels giving motion that feel.... guess ill find out on further reviews.

Nice quality indeed.

watching CD1... like the sound is a bit off, adjust your volume and receiver settings, and it should be all good. The video is very nice, good colors, good AR, it'll pass until the SCREENER comes along.

The movie is alright so far, got a couple of laughs, the first one was ok, only because of the actors/actresses not because of plotline. Hopefully this one will be alright, kinda seems like an Analyze This/Analyze That sequel. Not sure though, not all the way through yet ...

thanks TCR, you're putting out good stuff.

8/6.5/ I'll give the movie about a 6 so far

Posted by BLUE-NEO on 04-12-2004 05:48 PM:

Welcome back TCR long time no see...this is a nice return and a worthy film of this quality.

9 nice pic except the azzhole that stands up during the credits.
6 sound is a good but its up and down constantly through the film at times you can't even hear anything.
4 watched the whole movie it was actually only about average. just expected more for a sequel

im not sure what release everyone is watching but the video is choppy as hell. the audio is decent but very low. good video aside from the horrible encoding.

I too noticed this, especially on scenes with alot of moving objects or a moving backgrounds........perhaps some frame loss in the encoding process....??

besides that, this is an excellent TS even though it is slightly cropped, the colour is good with very little white glare and the audio is a bit fuzzy like some other folks noted.....but still listenable and in sync.......

Posted by ShadyInc on 04-12-2004 07:38 PM:

judging by the sample this is a great TS! can't wait to see the flick

video was great, the sound was good...when it wasnt dropping out to a whisper, and the movie was pretty lame, it had its funny parts but overall it was lame.

Woot,Woot.. Finally a very Descent rls from the MIA Group TCR, and what a movie to choose to hit the scene again.. I thought the pic was very decent throughout, a lil cropped but no where near as bad as the Fu Cam copy.. Glad i didn't bother to watch that version cept to flip through it.. The pic seems choppy alot during cd1 when i play in PowerDVD so i burned it to disk to check on the TV... The audio is very good albeit a little to low, but a nice pair of speakers will clear that right up And the movie was pretty damn funny a worthy rls to a worthy sequel. Welcome back to the scene TCR.. Try not to get lost again PLZ!!!!

7.5/8/8

Yeah, I noticed the same thing, but other than that its bright, vibrant pic and clear sound, great rls for probably crappy movie (at least what I've heard).

Added: After watching the full movie, the vid was choppy at times, and the sound was really annoying as it keeps going in and out.

7/6/4

Posted by gosh on 04-13-2004 07:28 AM:

based on sample...

vid: 9, very clear although it did seem to have frame rate problems or something
sound: 8, very clear although a little ring to it
movie: I'm not going to watch this cuz i haven't seen the first movie

-gosh

Posted by EmPreSS on 04-13-2004 06:20 PM:

Great color, very clear video. Sound is low but very clear - just turn up the volume.

I noticed the sluggish frame rate too. I burned at 24x and then at 48x. No change... still a little sluggish. But, this isn't an action movie so it really doesn't make the movie any less enjoyable. Actually, CD2 seemed less sluggish than CD1 did.

Just finished watching cd1

video 8
audio 7 (need to tweek volume)

very nice ts

good work

Do you guys actualy watch these movies before you rate them? Or judge by a screenshot? The framerate in this release is *CHOPPY*, thats enough to kill the movie for a lot of people , other than this the video quality is good for a TS and Audio is "OK" ,Also ..The Whole 9 Yards was great but this movie just plain sucked

6/7/4

Posted by dalton4life on 04-14-2004 03:40 AM:

The picture is about as good as it gets with a TS. There is noticable pixelation during fast motion scenes and it is a lil choppy too but overall it's still pretty good. Audio is good not great but good.

8/8/? (I didn't really care for the 1st movie but a girl I'm seeing really wants to see it so'll I watch with her)

Just watch this and was impressed by the video and give that a 8. However, the audio while in sync kept going in and out. Pretty dissapointing IMO. I give the audi a 6.

Posted by frak on 04-14-2004 10:00 AM:

watched this on the TV tonight...

Video is very sharp and the colors are great, the only pisser
is the frame rate is screwy. Annoying at first but you get used
to it.

Audio is sharp, clear and hiss free.

Movie.. well.. they should have stopped with the first one.

video: 7.5
audio: 8.5
movie: 5

It's not enough to "kill" this particular release, though. No real action here. The sound is in sync. The choppiness is only a minor thing to consider... considering we've got a great pic here with great audio (low - just turn up the volume!).... and this movie just came out in theaters. Beats paying theater prices in my view. Expecially since this movie actually sucks compared to the original... why? Because it's NOT original.....

You can tell by the posts here that people are judging the movie by the sample. If you burn the movie to DVD and WATCH it, you're in for a big surprise. As CLEAR as the video quality is, it is also choppy beyond all reason. 5 minutes into the movie, I had to turn it off. The choppiness was screwing with my vision. To ME, the choppiness was so bad that it made the movie unwatchable. That's too bad because I REALLY wanted to see this movie, and I found the video quality itself to be EXCELLENT. The choppiness killed it for me. This release brings a new meaning to the term "What a waste of a good thing".

Video - 3 (would be a 9 if it weren't for the choppiness)

Audio - 7

Movie - Beats me

Totally agree with previous post, this release is UNWATCHABLE, i tried my best to sit thru just over 10 mins of it..picture itself looks great and audio was pretty sweet, but that choppiness DAMN!
I dont understand why it hasnt been NUKED, obviously as said before, people havent tried to watch the whole release and are goin by the sample
TCR should try and get this sorted if they can and put out a repack otherwise it should get propered

Video - 1
Audio - 8
Movie - Dunno, didnt want to totally ruin the movie by tryin to watch this choppy piece of shit

Posted by xenomorph on 04-16-2004 07:56 PM:

not bad the mentioned frame rate issues diddn't put me off i, thought it wasn't that noticeable, i did notice a dip in volume from time to time tho. its a pity the film sucks.

Video: A little dark

found myself raising and lower volume throught the movie

Posted by Cwluc on 04-17-2004 07:38 AM:

Interesting if this movie is unwatchable how did I manage to watch it last night? Anyway not the best TS I have ever seen but I point you to worse if you must… 6/6/3 movie was just lame, forcing the characters into only driving for money seems to mirror the producers idea for making this movie, should’ve left the original alone.

Posted by guardian1128 on 04-17-2004 04:34 PM:

Yes this does look very good quality , vid 8 , audio 7 ( hiss ), can't comment on film itself as i haven't watched all the way through yet, need to watch the first film again then this one..

Posted by KLashNekkOff on 04-18-2004 06:03 PM:

thankyou TCR, its been a while!

a nice release perhaps one of the best TS's i have seen (since 50 First Dates anyway - which was off course a TCR realese )

video - damn near perfect, colours were bright and vibrant. the copy i had didnt seem to have any of the choppiness reported in previous posts! was slightly cropped but this is not really a problem, no pixelation at all to report

audio - nice and direct, however it went up and down in volume. this is the only real problem with an otherwise gr8 release.

movie - hmmmm well as a sequel i found it to be unoriginal and although there were some funny moments, it was lacking in laughs! Matthew Perry was gr8 as was Bruce Willis but Kevin Pollack really pissed me off!! lets just say i dont think there will be a Whole 11 Yards.

9/8/6

Keep it up TCR i want to see a lot more from you in the future!!!
