I really think that NewLine Cinema haven't got any Press Tapes from LordOfTheRings2 like Star Wars Episode 2, because the DVD Screener from LOTR1 was released a short time after the cine start and now they are more safety with this!

Really awesome release from UTI.

I really hope they will release the DVD-r rip of Harry Potter as well. just like Boozers did with 007- Die Another Day.

this evening is gonna rock. I already invited my pals over to watch Die another Day DVd Screener at my house, because where I live the movie has not even been released! and then afterwards we will gonna watch this awesome release of UTI.

wow what a day!!! keep them coming!!!! and thanks to Boozers and Uti for making this movie weekend the best ever!!!

Cant wait for these, was just saying to my brother the other day that I am going to wait till when Star Trek Nemesis is released in the cinema unless there is a screener released and with these being released I am very hopefully.

Also, I thought the DVD Screener of LOTR last year was released in late january so I think we can expect to wait the same amount of time for The Two Towers but hopefully I will be prooved wrong.

Just to comment on what i asked earlier, this release DOES have the bit on after the credits. The quality of it is low but it's still there. Just fast forward past the credits and it's got a little clip at the end of that guy's new book.

It is a great release...unreal quality. Just one question....when I watched some parts of this DVDRIP it seemed to be a widescreen version that was stretched a bit to make it almost full screen. Is that how everyones version looks? Just wanted to know...not complaining...its just an excellent DVDRIP. Thanks to everyone envolved.

no biggie either way, would just be nice to know if a re-encode is needed before making any anamorphically distorted coasters.

CD3 too large

When trying to burn the image of the 3rd CD's .cue file, Nero tells me it's too large for an 80 min (700 mb) CD. The CD image time is 79:59.15 and the CD can carry only 79:57.73 (703 mb - this is the same with my Sony disks & my cheap 'white-label' disks). So basically it isn't a problem with the CD, but with the cue/bin file itself being too large.

What shall I do?

I’ve ‘burnt’ it to my Nero virtual image drive and there is nothing wrong with it – just the fact that it’s too large for an 80 min CD.

Does anyone else have this problem, and if so, how did you get round it?

1. if your cd's can only do 79.57, they're crap, sony or no.

2. don't ever use nero to burn multitrack cd's from a cd image. use cdrwin or blindwrite.

3. you can fit more than a 703Mb image file onto an 80 min cd-r... you can fit 820-odd megs on it.

and finalize the cd when it asks you too

a vcd is an mpg which will allow you to burn 800MB onto an 80 min cd

Nero works just fine

nero does NOT work "just fine". Ahead.de themselves do not claim this, they are well aware that nero does not properly handle multi-track .bin images. from their web site FAQ:

all (s)vcd's have at least two tracks.

nero will always burn one of the tracks short by a certain number of bytes (i forget how many). this may not be a problem on most images, but it will sometimes mess up menus & chapters, and occasionally will cause a particular .bin to be completely unburnable with nero.
