Best release so far (In my opinion)

From Sample:

Video - Widescreen, slightly grainy but very bright (unlike the other releases) and watchable.

Audio - clear and crisp - a great job, although its a touch on the quiet side.

A very good release from VideoCD...

As a TS:

Edit: Movie seems to be full

This release is grainy ....not up to par with older videocd releases yes it is bright but it lacks on overall quality aspect...the audio is good cropped on top not much...audio is about as good as its going to get for a TS.

i wouldnt get this release if you have the TC. but it is good.

The prob with that rls was that the sound was a bit to low so hard to hear at some scenes.
But the video was way better then videocd. The pic is all orange and way to light.

Audio is best so far

Not impressed.


Video is pretty grainy and 'wobbly' in places. It STILL uses POT's missing 20 minutes....wtf is going on with that? Slightly cropped and at an angle.

Audio has a slight hum to it, but is clear when there is dialogue.

Movie is great.

The audio is indeed very well done. Clear and syncronised (!).
Video looks bit groiny (if that's a word) but still watchable. I think, overall, this is the best release yet of this movie
And there is a TC version out their russian, but isn't very good if you ask me...

Wow!

This release ads up to the priors when it comes to overall - it has probably been one of my most painful TS-grabs of all times..

VideoCD's rls is first to be complete without beeing a hybrid as far as I can tell, and shall have the creds for that.

I'll join in on complaints for beeing grainy and way too bright for my screen - but adjustments CAN be made with a few clicks - if peeps' not remote-n00bs..

I never liked the movie anyway, but I think I have given it a good shot..

VideoCD drops on my iNT TS-rating.

As the others have said, video is a bit grainy.

As far as this release - 6/7/9

This release is by far the only "real" release of batman begins to date. Say what you want, it is the only full version out there. The video may lack a bit, but it is in sych, and the whole movie is there. (as far as I can tell).
The video can be touched up, to make it to your own liking, if you know wtf your doing, and audio is legible. Finally after 6-10 incomplete releases we get one. Could be better, but it will do for now, as we dont see any decent copies of the big movies being released lately.
Kudos to videocd, this release was needed.

All i can say is its great to see VideoCD releasing SVCD TS again. However, this release is far below the par of the TC source floating around by CRDS,Correlation, and SAOSIN. Anyway pic is very grainy, especially on a tv. Sound is good but TC was far better. The film is all there, thats a plus.

no doubt with this being complete, thats the only reason its worth getting...I ran the video through alot of filters before I got it to look half decent...overall its still too poor to fix. Too much red and too much Gamma Rays...audio is quite low for such an explosive movie...

nice to see VideoCD back on the movie scene but this isn't anywhere near their previous releases.I'd rate this your average telesync. Heres hoping this is just teething problems in getting it right and welcome those top notch releases that we were spoiled with back forthwith !!!

Wow! Nice job videocd. Nice to see the whole movie their. It is a bit redder than would have preferred but it looks pretty decent on a CRT so i won't complain (specially since the whole movie is there too

Not very good.

It's going to be very difficult to get a good copy of this. We're going to need to wait until there is a DVD Rip or a Screener.

Those of you that saw it on the bigscreen know what I mean when I say, this movie is dark.

A lot of the scenes were dark in the theater and there is just no way they are going to be able to correct that. When a screener does come out, it's still going to be dark because that's just the way the movie is.

Yep, the quality is not good compared to the previous TS. Alot of problems: angle, ghosting, blurriness, reddish tint. I'll wait for a TC or screener. Nice try, VCD.

i think some of these kids gotta stop watching there releases on the pc and start watching them on 27" standalone before they rate the rls...cuz this is ridiculous

i give this based on the standalone

7(video - grainy here and there, little cropped but DEFINATELY watchable unlike these kids are saying)

7(audio - low voices, high definition in battle scenes; no sync problems noticed yet)

10(movie - best batman ever made and deserves the money in the theatre!)

Good Release but a little too pixeled in my opinion
However, there probably wont be a decent release like this until a Saosin Telecine or a dvd rip

Love this movie. This could be the best release yet .

This release is recorded from an angle. Audio is not superb for a TS but is understandable.

Movie was just great.... much better than expected. ALMOST makes me wanna go to the theater to see it.

This may be blocky and all, but its still the best release to date. I give it a 7.5/7/8

Well this is not bad at all 7 video 7 audio 8 for the movie. I hope i don't recieve a ban for this but another release that I watched before this was BATMAN BEGINS - TC/CAM HYBRID- ENGLISH AUDIO**COMPLETE MOVIE* -ADYWAN-XVID
. Of course it was an xvid but this dude put a lot of rework into video and audio to make the movie complete. The only crap part of this release wa that he did splice in pots cam to make the movie complete so when you watched it there was about 20 mins. of so - so video then it was back to great quality video for the rest. This accounted for the missing 20 mins. in the SAOSIN release. Hope I did not break any rules. If I have I apologize admins.

Watched the entire release last night...

Perfectly watchable, had to tidy it up slightly using WinDVD's filters otherwise it was a bit too bright in some scenes. Audio is generally good although the action sequences are quite loud which makes watching at night a constant battle with the TV remote but otherwise there's no issues with this release - certainly better than the "Frankenstein" versions out there!

As for the movie, I thought it was pretty fucking good so I'm off to the cinema to see it (did you read that MR HOLLYWOOD? I'm going to pay to see it because you made a movie that didn't suck palsied cock, well done!!)

Perfectly watchable and best copy out so far.

Thought the film was great. It's got me in the mood for some more Batman, so think I'll watch the first one tomorrow.

as stated earlier this copy is very clear on a dvd player. The colors on the Computer aren't great but when i converted to dvd it was a very good pic to watch on the television.

wasn't great quality but definatly watchable. Movie itself was a slow starter but once it got going I really enjoyed it come together

After watching all the other releases of this movie this copies the only complete one thus making it the best..those 20 minutes are important to the story line btw... pictures ok...sound is good...movies the best Batman ever.... 6.5/7/9

Not sure what all the complaints about the video are about. Yes, it was bright in spots, but this thing played great on my stand-alone. Hafta agree on the audio though, had to constantly play with the remote as it would get REALLY loud during action scenes. Saw this in theaters prior to DL'ing and hafta say that IMHO, this was the BEST Batman to date!!

about time someone came out with a full release of this one. the vidoe is white washed out. the audio is nice, but still a little low and grainy. thanks to videocd for a full release of this film. go see it in theaters, its well worth it.

Don't know wy everyone is giving this rls bad reviews. This is a really nice effort. By F-A-R the best version available. The movies is complete and the quality is good. On my 27" TV from across the room it looked good. This is a dark movie, but I could still see what was going on for the most part. Props for that. Audio was good, but I didn't play it through surround sound or nothin so I can't say for sure. Voices were quiet. There were a few hiccups here and there where the video seemed to jump but that only happened like 3 or 4 times in the whole movie. And it gets a little blurry in action scenes but that is what ts's do. The movie was excellent.

Come on people, lets not keep reusing a copy that was already pieced together by someone else. The original (I believe by ADYWAN) is as good as any after it. This release is nothing more than another attempt at improving someone elses work without succeeding. Can't wait for a better version (hopefully before the DVD release of the movie).
