Technically it is a dupe, Its the same as releaseing an Cam after a TS - Pointless.

I thought that vcd is a Mpeg-1 file while svcd is made from a Mpeg-2 file in which a dvd format really is?Well,minus the dvd vob authoring files anyhow.

so a svcd should dupe a dvdr right? cuz technically thats a dupe too

and i dont think POT wouldve rlsd this say if videocd did a homemade TS or anyother homemade TS grp but fra rls was terrible.

and scene rules were made ages ago long before SVCD TS became a standard, anoyone who has really read em knows that

great release by POT, pic is great and they seem to be slowly improving with every release. Great audio, as is typcal for POT ts releases. How good the movie is itself I can't tell ya.

all 3 are from the same silver source, as similar previous movies have been. (you can see this by noticing the STOP in upper left corner at the very beginning of the movie when the pirate captain opens the chest).

very lame rls; but technically valid under current scene rules
they just spent extra time encoding a poor silver vid source into svcd; and, as others have stated, used a questionable direct-audio source; yes the pic is bright and washed out....but not to the point of being nuke-able bad.

nearly the exact same vid quality as their cam; colors more normal than FRA; audio better as well; but clearly should be .internal.

First off nice release Pot still getting them out. getting better and better each time, but still quality isnt to the standards of others but i dont give a shi*e it does me for what i want the release for. im sick and tired of hearing twats that havnt even seen the release post on it saying ah rubbish rubbish etc it should be about time u got a slap from admins or warning??? its stupids how u rant ur mouth off about pot and all... its stupid, like to see u release something a tenth of there quality!

Where are these 7's for Video come from

The sound is perfect but the picture for a cam or TS is not worth the 7.. It picles a bit but not bad...Very watchable for a cartoon..May kids never moved during the whole movie..So get this one for the kids until something better comes alone..

well i'd just like to say ty to POT again for a great rls, dunno what all these complaints are on quality....i mean all the other groups made yas dl a full 2 discs film for a crappier version than POT's, gj POT well worth the wait

the quality on the video is good, little pixelation here and there, but other then that its a cartoon that fits on one disc! yay.(why would we need a 1600mb cartoon? lol)

day are doing the best for what they got. if the video isnt the best to start with than your not gonna make it much better. if they could get a different supplier like videocds than they would always have their quality.encoding isnt hard the sound is great. all they need is a better video to work with. give them a break!! thanks pot for all the free movies you work so hard to put out. i may not get every one you do but lately your the only one doing them.

I got cams on dvdr-r that are much better than some rls but if you get beat you get beat!
It is all about the race the challenge of being the first!
After that, thats where the quality comes in!

who can advise on, these units for getting direct sound from the hard of hearing system?

it goes in and out of shit and watchable ..lol depends how colors are on thescreen and how many people are standing around the sound is perfect and helps a lot but its watchable i dont think we need a another copy its not that big of a deal ..i think

I have honestly had a hard time comparing this version to FRA's. They seem to be very close, except the brightness. This version seems to have a little bit less color, but is still a good copy. POT deserves nothing but love for the effort. I choose to keep and use POT's. They constantly produce more movies than anyone else. No matter what other issues there may or may not be, POT deserves respect and support. Thank you!

My kid has watched this around 5 times already. Way better sound than the last release. Great job....picture is a bit blurry but bottom line is its a cartoon and it really doesnt matter to my kids at all. As long as they could hear whats going on without putting the volume up to the max. Video --6 Audio - 9 .....Movie - 7 Had some funny parts

Very minor differences between FRA and this... brightness a bit less, blue seems a bit more dulled down.. and audio is a hair better.... none of which makes it worth wasting your time to get.

If ya already got FRA's release keep it... watch it... do some minor adjusting of the brightness and color on your TV and it will look almost the same as this... the kiddies aren't really that picky anyway.

7.5 if you watch it on teh PC it looks horrible but on teh TV it's better, not great but better

9 ... it's DTS! (but downsampled and encoded to mpeg2 so u lose a tiny bit there)

for pot this is great i still think the sleepover ts vcd was better overall but when its purely cartoon this movie looks almost flawless, wish some b/s group wouldnt have f'd up the SVCD, but yes the cartoon portion is fabulous, a few thin lines around the cartoons which blur here or there but for just VCD it looks well.. wow... when it has the pirates or david hasslehoff it looks washed, but thats the stupid as hell parts of the movie as u can see during scene switches the black screen is brown due to color changes, but that makes the cartoon part great.... either way i love this copy but not the movie... 1cd is a great plus tho... VCD TS RATING... 7/9/5 (was good til the end and i was like WTF DAVID HASSLEHOFF LAME!!! LOL)
