Not bad. Really dunno of its better then utis cam though. utis was very bright but more sharp then this one. I like the uti sound better, I know is hollow but ftfs is just....bad

so my opinion is: If u have uti cam. keep it

To answer someones question, is it better than UTi? As far as quality goes overall, yes. There might have been a person and a rattling or two in UTi's cam, but it was still *way* higher quality than FTF's release. I like how they didnt even bother calling it a proper =)

Lets face the facts, this release is the same ass-grainy picture FTF has been putting out for years. Its not any better then any of their other releases, and the only reason it got such a high rating is because its harry potter. If this was evil dead or some shit, it would have gotten a 4.5 rating like usual.

Still a good release from UTi, a week before its in theaters... nice!

Good release FTF; JPEG doesn't look too bad. UTi's release was good as well, but I could barely make out what Dumbledore and Mr. Malfoy were saying. Hopefully a good quality telesync SVCD version of this film will be released by some group (preferably CENTR0PY).

audio is kinda wack, either loud/muffled+pops&clicks... it's not full screen.

BTW: i read somewhere that it is rumored there is a part at the end of the credits, extra shit. Does anyone know if UTi's or FTF's releases included that?

Not UTi's, it stops right when it says 'Directed by Chris Columbus'. Not sure about FTF's...

I downloaded the Cam and The TELESYNC now! Looking at the difference and Uti has truer colour but FTF has a better picture and angle and it is showing all the picture UTi's Cam had some bad Lighting and missing some of the picture from the angle. I went to go see Harry Potter in the Movie Theater before I saw the FTF version and UTi's cam is cut a little on the sides.

Overall FTF is better but UTi still kicks ass for releasing the best Pre release I seen for a long time.

Pic is ok, sound lets it down, it's a bit loud and distorted. Maybe they should turn down the headphone level in the disabled area

UTi one is still the one to go for, props anyway.

I noticed this, too. It's from a different source, so who knows who made the cuts. Also, there were some glitches early on which were absent in the UTi release. This is a COMMENDABLE effort, and if they had been first, it would have been a real coup for FTF, but it wasn't, and it's not.

Sticking with UTi on this one.

Actually there were "skips" or cuts in the ftf version as well. And the sound was just unbareable. But wow... what a picture for a pre! However with some very easy reencode options through tmpegenc the color, sharpness, and brightness can be adjusted to look very nice.
