When I try to view the JPG, it says "This sample has been viewed times", and it has the little TShirt Hell advert there, but there is no JPG sample. What's up with that?

Yeah, I played CD1 in my Apex player and experiance some slowdown as well. All my other SVCD's work fine. Maybe this wasn't encoded correctly or maybe the bitrate is too high for my Apex. Not sure.

Its what you would expect from TCS.Nice job guys. DVD Screeners own!

Posted by foster2k3 on 12-25-2002 10:52 AM:

humm ending seems missing
cd2 ends just like that bruskly

Posted by BiggFatty on 12-27-2002 06:50 AM:

Just skimmed through the first cd, you can't read what the watermarks say, they don't happen very often, and they are kinda short. The group cut off about half of the scrolling watermark, which also means a little video was cut off, but it still looks good. Also note there is a CD3 repack.

Posted by Aff on 12-27-2002 06:56 AM:

ive got this release but mines 3cds

??

Posted by velocity3k on 12-27-2002 02:42 PM:

The release is 3cd's not two and the second cd should end with norton giving hannibal a final proposal. The 3rd cd was repacked as it cut off 40 seconds before the titles.

This is the 1st movie I've downloaded and noticed a frame skipping with the NTSC pulldown - anyone else get this?

I thought Nero had burnt it wrong, but I checked the raw mpeg and it skips too.

Great film though, this release will keep me going until the dvd is out to buy....

j0h2n and Stabbe: its "TOO" late, not "to" late. hint: www.dict.org as start page :P

Posted by m-drew on 12-28-2002 06:34 AM:

Does this release have any Watermarks/Serials or Counters?

Posted by DaGamePimp on 12-28-2002 08:56 AM:

Wink

it has a barely visible 'Property of' line that scrolls across the bottom of the image [ almost all of it was cut away so it does not bother you very much at all ] . Video is a little bit jerky on this one but still very good quality [ Props to TcS ] . Audio is great other than being just a bit low [ nothing to complain about ] .

Not so smooth

While the quality overall is very good, it appears a bit jerky. Possibly dropped frames during the encoding? I know it's not the player, I've tried it on two standalone's, the Pioneer dv-333 and Apex 1201 - as well as 2 computer dvd-rom drives. sound is sweet though. still a great release.

8/9/9

Posted by madmike on 12-30-2002 09:22 AM:

AWESOME!!!! This is kick ass!!! Great job!!! Keep the DVD Screeners coming!!

Posted by tony532 on 12-31-2002 12:22 AM:

Unhappy

jerks like a bastard

must of had a few beers when they were setting the pal/ntsc switch being christmas and all

ho ho ho

Posted by Bobby-Whiskey on 01-01-2003 10:06 AM:

Yup, video is kind of jerky at times, but I got used to it. Great movie, great quality other than the jerks. And the "property of" warning was nicely concealed under the letterbox. Good job.

Posted by johnnyrayflynn on 01-02-2003 12:21 AM:

Question Uhh, where?

:: Requesting, NO!

Posted by hooah_punk on 01-02-2003 02:16 AM:

Thank you TcS, I was slow on getting my hands on this rls, just me being lazy...but I watched it and it was beautiful. Thanks for bringing us nice movies, quick

awsome quality! awsome movie!

Posted by Pra3t0 on 01-02-2003 09:57 PM:

I see a REPACK for CD3 is out. Anyone know what's fixed?

Posted by m-drew on 01-02-2003 11:51 PM:

I downloaded it, burnt it and watched it finally last night.

Video is a big jerky, and the bottom was cut a bit to try to hide the 'Property of... Call 1800.....etc..'

At the end of CD2, I inserted CD3, and it replayed about 10 seconds of CD2 because it obviously had a CD Overlap but CD1 and CD2 didnt have a CD Overlap.

Overall, nice quality and all, but I think someone needs to PROPER this. Too many little things like this that makes this release trash.

Looks like TcS needed a good/quick release and we got a QUICK release.

TcS - RePROPER

Posted by Kataliyst on 01-03-2003 10:14 PM:

I got screwed over with Disc 1 as the CUE file pointed to Disc2 and I didn't test the burn. Can anyone repost Disc1 or arrange a private trade with me for Games/Movies?

Let me know. Thanks - I would really like to see this movie.

Posted by Pra3t0 on 01-04-2003 08:45 AM:

Okay, just watched this and my eyes are going bonkers. What the heck did TcS do when they ripped this? It's holding frames, skipping some, then catching up. It does this on and off all the way through the whole film. Surely the screener didn't have these problems.

oh well... just glad to have seen it. Now I want a Red Dragon tattoo.

maybe bad ivtc?

Posted by JayTray on 01-05-2003 11:32 PM:

Unhappy Damn, this is the jerkiest movie I seen...

I don't wanna start no shit, but I finally got around to watchin this, with all the other rls that been coming out (The Ring was the best by the way, movie wise, not quality). But it seems this rls is very choppy, like they used TMPEg to do the 2:3 pulldown (Maybe, don't flame me TMPEGenc fans :P ). I was kind of disappointed. I am thinking about trying to redo the pulldown w/ actual pulldown.exe and see if it looks any better. As of now I'm not even sure if pulldown was used, or if it was NTSC source or if they just did a bad job w/ IVTC. But I will post a reply and let everyone know. I'm sure that Pulldown was done improperly. I see a few others who have posted the same thing about it being very choppy or jerky.

Posted by cueandbin on 01-13-2003 02:14 AM:

great picture and sound quality. I have not seen the movie yet, maybe tonight

Posted by horizonstar on 01-21-2003 11:19 PM:

what did I miss? (small spoiler)

Oops, I got this release a long time ago, apparently before the CD3 repack. Just got around to watching it now though. Is there anything important in those last 40 seconds of the movie missing from the original CD3? Or does all the important stuff end with the end of Hannibal's letter?

thx ...
