Wow, really nice ftf. Video is pretty damn sweet for such an early release. Watched CD1 on my TV an was impresed. Sound isn't too bad either. Little scratchy but definetly watchable.

Good release guys. Hopefully you can keep this this up.....who knows :P

Gotta give FTF props for a pre on what is one of the most anticipated movies in a long time (next to star wars and such). If it's anything like the original, it's gonna rock.

Pic is kinda crappy on this one but better than most ftf's. The sample jpg is a still frame image, but when watching the flick it's not a very clear but more like fast movin pixels. Looks nice when still framed though. Hehe. Sound is good though.

the quality on this form the sample isnt too bad if you want it grab it if not wait and there may be a proper thats run through some filters and shite but this one wasnt too bad good movie too from what ive heard

this movie has the same plot about feardot.com. Hope fully it doesnt suck as bad as it.

The video quality is shitty, the source looked nice, but it looks like it was taken from a low bitrate, or just a fuck up job on the silver or tape they got it from....I give it a 4 since I'm a nice guy.

Audio is decent, not bad at all, good for TS.

Movie, dunno, but this isnt watchable by my means, since I dont want to ruin the movie by watching some shit ass pixelated & blurred (only way to describe the video quality) release.

man..video is Screwed.. SOUND is TOTTALY screwed.. movie itself would have been fair.. but FTF tottaly ruined it for me
cant beleive i even gave ti a chance. another FTF typical release. this time they REALLY screwed up on the sound and vid.

Video:
very bland with little color, almost black and white at times with the only trace of color being the prevelant blue tint.
somewhat dark at times.
visible noise in the picture.

Audio:
while the audio was good through just about all of CD 1 at about the 44 minute mark it suddenly turns shitty with some kind of distorted effect.

wow this is bad. The top of the film is completely cut off. you usually get to a actors eyes, that's about it. The sound on cd1 at 44minutes till the end has that bad echo effect. I dunno if this source was just bad, or the encoding job was horrible. Either way, this should be nuked or should have an attached warning...seen it nuked on most sites though.

Video: Contrast is way too high and bearly watchable at times.

Audio: The 44 minute mark of CD1 is definitely too annoying (bad distortion) and should have been checked before release.

This is my first official vote as I'm a newbie and just get these things from my own research. I am not affiliated with any groups but I really appreciate every1 for getting these pre's out so fast. Maybe one day I'll learn the tricks as to how to always get these releases a few hours after they're made. Usually I gotta wait like 3 days. With this one, I was lucky.

So as a newbie, rest assured, this vote is as honest as it gets.

BTW, too keep this honest, should I rate based on how I see it on my Bigscreen or how it looks on the PC? I ask this because even the shittiest video can look halfway decent on a TV with good filtering.

Where are the people's heads.....

The picture wasn't to bad but the cam angle was very bad...most of cd1 your missing the whole top of the movie and for most of the walking scenes the people have no heads......Sound in places sounded like they were under water...I'm not flaming . When the movie is good is i give good reviews and when it bad it's bad..

Could someone compare this release to the FTF-Red Dragon release earlier? Is it better or is it worse? Just so I have an idea. Any comments would be nice...thanks.

The video in this release sucks compared to Red Dragon, it's very blurred and cropped, the audio isn't too bad, no hum this time but it's a bit distorted.

It's an alright movie, video kinda chopped off last 15 minutes on CD1, overall though, i give it a 6/7/8

Heads cut off...???

Does anyone know if.. their heads are supposed to be cut off? I grabbed this and checked it out before I burned it.. and it seems that the heads of the actors are all cut off... also qualitys not to great.. I think I wait.. good try though FTF.. overall 5/3/?

awsome movie, shitty quality like the last 15 mins of the 1st disk the video moves down and all u see are the lips then like the audio gets messed up the second disk is better like the 1st 5 mins you get the half face scene, but then it gets better. oh well it's a pre AWSOME MOVIE tho kinda freaky well very freaky

Like people have said already (I should have read before I downloaded) The sound for the last 10 minutes of CD1 is very distorted and hard to hear, plus as was also mentioned the picture seems to have the top third of the screen missing, so you only get to see people from the nose down.

it's a shame, apparently the vhs/dvd boot they got was high on the bottom so they cropped it to make it even, when they should have left it as is. This release would not have been so bad if it wasnt so badly cropped.

Sound after 44mins goes really echoey... hard to listen to. The cam is positioned wrong too cutting off the top third of the picture.

The quality is worth putting up with because the movie rocks but the sooner a proper of this comes out the better.

hot movie, shit bugged me out, i saw the original japanese version years ago, it was creepy, but the subtitles were ass , had the ppl sayin shit like "not go watch the video, week death" didnt matta how much i drank, or smoked or tripped, shit aint make sense, i give props to ftf for puttin this out, i just hope somebody releases a better vversion, cd1 cuts the heads off like at the last 10mins of that disk, other than that, its barely watchable, but watchable non the less, the movie is great tho, just please somebody release a better version............

Audio garbled, video crops off heads. Never made it through disc 1. You people should stop rating a release by the sample. I, like a dumb ass listened and wasted my bandwidth on this crap release of a movie that looks good. thanks for nothing.

ok i never rate movies because its pointless but i do talk about them but you people said this was watchable i disagree this is bearly watchable and the aduio lacks i mean i'm thankful for the early release and every thing but still....and btw cd1 is fine i can make out what every one says....

it seems to me that you guys was just worryed about the earlier release instead of the audio and video if the video was any worster this should be labled as a cam

1 more thing i agree shamelessbill the picture sample looked 80% better then what the rip was i dont know where you people get your mpg samples at but where i get my rips theres no such thing as samples.

alright i don't know wut tha fuk is wrong with people, whether your def or blind or fuking both, but this is the worst release i have ever seen, and i have been around the scene for quiet a while, a Hbo rlz would have topped this crap of a movie, for like half of the movie the camera is lowered so we can't see anybody's face, and that hissing noiise for 10 mineuts ever time someone talked it was inunderstandable, i'm dissappointed in ftf and think that they could have done allot better

Dark picture (but it is a dark movie i guess). A portion of the top of the screen is missing. Sound is pretty good but then near the end of CD1 it turns to shit ruining everything with a horrible echo effect. The movie was garbage compared to the Japanese original anyway.

Props to FTF for the release anyway, just a shame the audio let it down.
