video quality=9.5 blurred out on the bottom and top. cause its a workprint. but nicely done.

audio=9 very good sound.

the blurred marks at the top and bottom are a bit irritating but its sprobably one of those things you can blank out after a few minutes watching.

only watched the sample but it seems a few miliseconds out of sync too... easily recitified on xbmc.


video - 7 (would be 8 if not for the blurred marks)

audio - 8 (9 if the rest of it is in sync properly)

Respect to PUKKA for a dvdrip release 9 days before its cinema release anywhere on earth! I'm not sure how complete this is being a workprint, but 10 outta 10 for speed!

video = 8 - sweet but blurred out counters spoil things, maybe you could crop it yerself.

audio = 7 - fine but slight sync issues, its bearable though.

movie = ?? not seen it all yet, but hostel wasnt bad so there's hope (especially if tarantino had a hand in it)

Just finished watching this, here's all:

first of all:
video - 8 (a little blur - nothing to worry about)
audio - 9 (very good)
movie - 8 (much better than the first one!)

Now, because it's WorkPrint some of the special effects dosent look very good, and in one scene you can see a green screen behind a person. but really, it's extremly watchable - i enjoyed it.

Currently 26 minutes in, you can tell it's a workprint, hehe some of the effects are not special at all.. Mobile phone bidding for anyone who's seen it.

Quality is ok, on par with that of a VHS Screener, blurred bits do distract occasionally but not really visually imparing the film.

Audio is fine, nothing to cry or write home about.

As for the film, will let everyone else decide.

Obviously considering this isn't even released yet, the lack of DVD quality is completely outweighed by the simple fact it's available before it even hits cinemas.

Meh, after a while the blur didnt bother me, but excellent speed, Video and Audio.

Just watched all the way through, and the movie is perhaps largely unscored in this instance - I certainly didn't notice any incidental music until past the hour mark, and as mentioned before some visual effects remain unfinished. That said, the film appears otherwise complete, and the flow of the narrative does not betray any missing scenes or odd cuts. The blurring out of serials/whatever is only initially annoying, so I would suggest that anyone with an interest in the movie would do well to check this out if they are absolutely desperate to see pre-theater - you really should be forking over your $$$ though.

As for the movie itself, if you thought the first one carried some kind of weight that disqualified it as torture porn, I find it unlikely that you could find any such gravitas in its sequel, which bar a few elemental narrative constructs is pretty much a remake of the first.

I'ld rate it the following after watching the whole movie

V=8 (For early release and watermarks) didn't distract me from the movie

A=8 (Slight sync issue) again didn't distract me from the movie)

M=3 No where near as good as the first one IMO

Good work again from PUKKA. Out already and not even released yet. Unbelievable. Have watched entire movie. Video high quality. There are the 2 blurs and I did see a very slight amount of pixilation. In the middle of the movie I thought there were 2 or 3 very quick glitches. Audio is excellent. Movie OK.

Painfully watched the entire thing. It hurt. One of the WORST movies I have ever seen. How this can be made and people paid for it is beyond me. A group of high schoolers can make something better.

Pic - 7 - constant blur - Watcheable - but nothing great.

Sound - 6 - This was not so good. COnstantly raising volume, lowering volume. Background music louder than voices. Not balanced at all

Movie - 1 - If there was negative - I would have given it. Horrible. Nothing remotely scary. So boring. All talk..And boring talk. Trash. Trash. Trash. Dont bother even watching. I doubt you will get through first 30 min. The ending is so stupid.

Video - 7/10 - its watchable, blurred lines, and not too sharp but dang good for a workprint and since its not out in theatres yet
Audio - 8/10 - from just viewing a clip of it it sounded great

Film is incomplete !!!!

Burnside, I'm with you, there is stuff missing. Thank god. I thought I was going nuts for a minute. The film does run through ok and explains the story, but it's short and most of what you would expect from a film of this genre is not included. So it is my asumption after watching this ALL THE WAY THROUGH ( because not many seemed to have ) that there is much left out. Just from comparing Hostel to Hostel Part II, the gore level was nothing in comparison,that alone has to be a give away that the film isn't complete.

The film will bomb at the cinemas if the film is touched up and released as is.

I'd go through the scenes that I think have stuff missing, but I'll leave that up to you all to watch through. Coz the list is a little long to type.

Video - 8 ( great apart from the watermarks )

Audio - 7 ( volume does fluctuate at times )

Film - 5 ( as is, need to watch the final COMPLETE film to decide properly, but I hope "there will be sexy fun times" )

Brilliant film. Much better than the first with a story that makes sense.

except for blurry watermarks at top and bottom, utterly excelent copy of film. Would also consider waiting for TELESYNC due to watermarks, but this is the version of DVD standards to get... look past the watermarks and watch a DVDRip of a film that has yet to be released....
