Video quality is amazing, almost as good as a dvdrip, the sound is a little hallow though. Not bad, just not perfect. 9/8/10
Didn't really notice the sync issue in the first release(just skimmed to certain parts though), again after skimming this one it seems fine
From sample this is an amazing TC.

Cant fault this one bit, shame it needed a repack, wasted 8minutes of my life leeching the out of sync version :'(

This is another one of those Quick TC/R5 Releases. This one is release around a month after the theater release. Been waiting for this type of release for Borat forever.
From the sample:
Video: 10 (This is an amazing quality for TC video. Crisp, Clear, Almost DVDSCR Quality)
Audio: 9 (Definitely Direct Audio, Sounds absolutely amazing)
Movie: 10 (This is one hilarious movie, Cant wait to see this release)
The audio seems to go in and out of volume alot.
Good but not dvdscr quality in my opinion.

Heres an accurate review of this release:
video: great, looks wonderful 9
audio: 5 this audio is terrible, it goes in and out, gets scratchy and booms alot as if it were recorded originally at too high od a dB and then they tried to lower it later. The boom still exists. Ill wait for a better copy, the audio blows although out the entire release.

if your audio is out of sync it is not this repack and you are posting in the wrong thread.

Audio - 6 It's flat, it cracks occasionally, and the volume fluctuates a lot. FoGgEdOuT, did you really watch the sample? I honestly don't know how somebody could call this "absolutely amazing" audio. Even from the sample you can tell it's pretty bad.
Movie - ? About to watch.

After checking this on my tv I give the video a 10. The audio does seem to go high then low but is good enough, so I'll stick with my original score of 8. And the movie itself, still an 9.

a: 5 - fucking shitty: volume goes up and down and sounds like shit (i don't think i would bitch so much if this were a TS, but the video quality merits much better audio than this, and i am talking about the repack)

Yeah, have to say, audio does let this down, and badly at times, as sometimes it goes so low and muffled, you cant hear a thing, a shame really, as when its good, its great, nice clear and stereo, although far too bass heavy at the wrong things.
Video is spot on, and is just about Retail Quality, and has nice english subs too.
Might see if i can make a hybird audio thing, as i really want to see this, but could get frustrated with this one when watching it.

The sound is terrible. Am watching it as I type this, through my stereo it sounds like complete crap. Goes really low and then high, then low then high. This is really hard to watch. I now give the sound a 0 [too annoying, makes it impossible to watch]. At times it is so quiet that you cannot even hear it. Great picture quality though! Needs a Repack, REPACK?

Audio is pathetic.
As everyone's mentioned, the video is primo, but the sound is rather lacking... I was able to sit through it watching on my computer w/ headphones, but really couldnt see myself sitting through the whole thing watching this on my TV...
Im hoping the DVD version or SVCD version fixes this issue..
According to Pukka's new standards, this release is tagged incorrectly. Should be tagged Borat *REPACK* *XviD* - R5.Line - ASTEROiDS.

The Audio is a blend of some English audio and the original video sources audio track. Good job at cleaning up and blending in the audio. Source of the English audio sounds like crap but it's the best ASTEROiDS had.

it's listenable if u dont mind missing what half everyone is saying.
i think i'll wait for a better one asteroids really should have waited for a better audio source
The film is funny. Borat is the sensation of the moment. The picture
is excellent. The sound, good.

Is there an explanation for all the poor audio quality releases? 5 years ago, the audio was the easiest part to get a clean source. Now it seems that as the techniques for video have gotten so much better, groups are taking huge steps backwards in the audio department.
Borat.R5.LINE.PROPER.XviD.PUKKA has been released. Get that instead, this is shit compared to Pukka's release

the PUKKA's audio does sound more like cam audio, but i'd take more consistent, inferior quality, over inconsistent volume.
if you guys have both, they are both exactly the same length, so PUKKA's audio will work directly with the ASTEROiDS release. you can extract the audio from virtualdub, and mux it back with the ASTEROiDS video.

Well I downloaded the wrong version (this, i meant to get pukka rls) and I dont know what you guys are talking about, knowing you guys and your low standards.. this seems pretty good and the audio is not near as bad as some have described.. slight variances but not bad

Dunno why some people our moaning about the audio. Our you sure you got the repack? I got it yesterday - burnt to dvd and watched it all the way through. It was fine. There is getting too many fussy people on this site.
I'm pretty sure that I got the repack and it still sucked? Unless I somehow accidentally downloaded the original release...shit IDK! Has it been confirmed that the repack sucks too? Screw it.

video is near perfect, but the audio is crap in this release. movie was funny, but not a s funny as i had anticipated, being a fan of the series.

the sound is definately iffy here on the repack. I just watched it and when the volume behave its great, but it fdoes drop away and make certain parts impossible to hear without turning it up. Shame , otherwise excellent release

Downloaded movie, thought the picture was excellent, was really let down by the audio.... real dissapointed.
