pretty nice for a cam. something funky is going on with the top left side of the screen, but not that annoying. the sound is nice for a cam. all-in-all, if you want to see this crappy looking movie that bad, this release is watchable.

Nice CAM VideoCD. Small pic though, looks like it was majorly cropped. From the sample there's no angle at all, but it's quite light ( which is good in a way! ). Sound was actually very good, almost sounded non-camish. Many thanks VideoCD..i saw this in the theater, and have been wanting a copy for myself ever since.

7.5 *after viewing CD1 i changed my mind*/7/8 - This movie was "a different type of comedy." It was only rated PG, so don't expect anything crude, but i enjoyed it.

*brr: i agree, but .. someones gotta do these movies! (i was right about that pm i sent ya wasn't i? :P )

*btw VideoCD, it's Napoleon (not Napolian)

after skipping thru it seems pretty funny also i think they only cut the sample there couse that was the only thing wrong with it

Very Nice Cam, 8/7/10

Awesome movie, i saw it in the theatre last week, and it is fucking hilarious. Different kind of comedy, like most posters have been saying, but none the less classic.

the time machine is one of the greatest moments in cinematic history.

Hmm, hope the mispellings are not some ploy to make the releases harder to find in searches. Don't particularly need to use them often, It's just quite annoying. Makes use of pre and dupe checkers a pain when something is spelt wrong too.

Can you point out even one post in this thread which says that? Because I just read both pages and don't see one. They either talk about the CAM in general or the audio.

I did notice a slight audio sync problem on the sample - just enough to be annoying. Should be no problem for tmpgenc users to correct, though.

Picture quality is ok , sound quality is ok. It is missing about 30 sec. from the beginning (Napoleon gets on the bus, some kid says 'What are u gunna do today Napoleon', Napoleon says 'I'll do whatever I wanna do, gosh!") You hear some audience noise, but I've heard worse from some cams.

Wait for a telesync , but if you love this movie like I did, grab it!

what programs do you use to "rip out the audio and add about .4 or .6 seconds to it and re-encode. " also, this movie was recently released in all theaters, only slect cities/theaters had it since june.

smart ppl would just run the audio seperate from the video and sync it manually, rather than pulling audio out and reencoding

Watched part of the first disk and noticed the sync as well, its not bad but bad enough to make you go uhhhhhh. Anyway, what I did was extracted the .dat with Isobuster, change the extension to mpg, and then I opened it in VirtualDub to sync up the audio without a reencode. Will rate when done watching.

i'd like to be able to play it in most standalones, so i need VCD or SVCD encoding... DOH! that leaves TUN's new version, but nobody has stated whether that one is better than vcd's cam version or not...

like i said before, this movie is SCREAMING for a maVen TS/TC.. :grin:

its a limited release..if a ts isnt out yet...dont expect it ...and why not just encode the xvid to (s)vcd yourself? grab tmgenc or mainconcept...

Yeah, the audio desync was very annoying, had to fix it or it would have been unwatchable. easiest way for me was to load up the 2 .cue files into a playlist on VLC player, then settings>preferences, check the 'advanced options' box in the lower right corner, and go to audio section. in the box audio desyncronization compensation type the number 225. the audio is synced correctly now, enjoy!

umm havent watched it yet, video is good for a cam, audio is decent (as expected).
