Didnt see the rls, but whats wrong with the nfo?

Judging from the sample I'm impressed with the picture. It has very good color and it's not to cropped. The only small issue with the picture some might have is that is seems a little grainy. Sound is great and the movie looks really good. VERY nice job by POT, thanks for an awesome release.

Video is not bad, could use a little more color, and it is a little dark, but other then that its fine, Sound is really nice and full, good old DTS sound , only watched a small bit of the movie before i went to work!!!!

wow, now thats better.

Sound is verry good, clear no hisssss, nice stereo and good tone.
Picture is Clear, Not to blury, detail is good and colours are also good.

as many forget A telesync is the same spec as a CAM except it uses an external audio source.
and on that spec this has a above average picture for a cam takeing the Cams of late as a refrence.
the Sound is TS and a good crisp Transfer.

well done guys. this will do me untill the DVD.

ok, After watching the whole movie i stand by what i said above but i must also agree with what some have said below aswell.
like most films of this type its spent alot of the time underground in tombs.
sadly useing DV to VCD alot of depth is lost.
shades of black and grey are limited and Dark scenes suffer because of this.
im not shure if a SVCD TS or TC would help?

but like i said, for a TS (of a film with many dark scenes) this is none too shabby.
still worth the download.


p.s Movie aint to bad, i liked it
oh and theres no heads and the end creds are there (well start to role then the end) so whole film IS there.

very good

i don't know about everyone else but i watched this full entire release and didn't notice ANY problems, the video is actually a lot better then many people say.
the dark scenes aren't to dark the bright scences aren't to bright..it could use a bit of colour but other than that this release is VERY good. i was expecting very poor video and its not what i got. the sound is perfect of course, as what is now somewhat expected with TS"s now due to the dts source.
the movie i thought was also good, it might have tried to hard to be like indiana jones and the last crusade with the whole father son sub plot but still worth watching. all in all..very good all around.

Good sound and good picture, now if POT could've done this with SpongeCAM, I would be in love. Still, this release is good and props to POT for the effort and quality. The video has nice colors and to be honest, unless another version comes out like by today...I'd say stick with this copy and save the time.

Not a bad release. Pretty clear, if a bit blurry. Not much visible pixelation, and colors are decent-if a bit bright.... sound is good, the sound has some 1sec gaps here and there throughout the movie (I guess where the DTS discs changed or tracks changed), but nothing too major, and the sound wasn't properly converted from 48khz to 44.1khz, it has a bit of tingyness to it...

but, overall, good enough to keep the kids happy, and $25 in my pocket!

uh oh, looks like POT is missing a bit of audio on this one...they tried to hide it too...

on CD 2 at 45min 21secs, you hear Sadusky go "Get on" and it doesn't match his mouth, then after that, Sadusky, Ben, Ben's Father and Abigail have a conversation, but they replaced that conversation with music/thunderstorm from another part in the film...and then the next scene the audio is out of sync when they are in the tunnel and Ben says it's a "Dead end"....but then it returns to sync when Sadusky goes up on the elevator...

I'm new here, but wouldn't that classify as a nuke?

POT has come a long way and i think they are rocken the scene lately with increasingly becoming more respectible due to their releases.

i noticed on cd2 there is about 15 secs without audio after they decend the elevator in the trinity church...other then that great job POT, video is a little washed and pixeled but well watchable.

Video wasn't bad at all. Very watchable for an early release. Sound was good.

There was an anamoly that those who haven't seen the film may not notice but I did.

There's two scenes cut out in this release.


======POTENTIAL SPOILER ALERT - DO NOT READ FURTHER IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO KNOW========================

It happens towards the end of the film when they go into Pattington Lane. There's a scene where they reach the bottom of the vault or whatever where the sound gets weird. What's supposed to happen is Ben and company go into a room where there's a bunch more Free Mason symbols and potential clues. That's where we first see the lantern that Ben's dad refers to and where we see the "All Seeing Eye" that whole portion is cut out to where it just has the baddie asking for the clue.

The second cut out scene is where they emerge from Pattington Lane, there's a caretaker who discovers the remains of old Pattington on the floor where they left it - as the good guys bust through a nearby crypt.

=======END SPOILERS===========================


So no, not earth shattering major scenes - but it did make the ending of the movie feel rushed and lost some of the impact. Bugged me a bit.

Other then that, good release.

Here's the skinny. Pic is blurry, blocky, and washed out. Sound is good. Didn't watch much of it as pic was too messy for me. I'll wait for another release.

Watchable, but the picture sucked, and the sound was kinda weird.

Hey, assholes, if you ever would open your fucking eyes, you would realise that more than 25% of the new theater movies are released by POT first, and only by POT. If it wasn't for them, we wouldn't have so much shit.

This release is pretty good quality, sound is excellent. Movie was just kickass..saw it at the theater myself, trust me..it is MUCH better there

hey i dont understand something for all you video quality complainers(get your own cam and do it yourself if ya dont like it that much)

when ya vote ctp yas usually vote 8.5 or 8.8 or 9's.....ok so fine, ctp have greaten looken vids.....but you have to take into fact the little things, for one ctp use resolution 352X240, while POT is using a much larger resolution....so picture taken ctp's release and increasing it to POTS size...what would happen.....little pixelation :O but we coudlnt have that could we i mean that would mean we would have to vote 6 instead of 9, really tho there is not that much of a difference here.....to make the vote that wide of a gap all you 6 voters....

video = 5 washed color, bright, blocks in action scenes and black blocks from film..deny the black blocks? they are all over sample

audio = 8 its direct, most likely dts, nice job, very clear


movie = 7 its ok, next indiana jones? no, too corny and over the top, but still good to watch

no matter how much tmpgenc I did to this film...just never looked good..but its a decent telesync..surprised still no good SVCD telesync of this film..which is #1 in the box office.

Anyone who rated this movie (the movie, not the video or audio) above a 6 is smoking crack. The story sucks, the clues suck, it's not even sort've believable, and ANYONE that compares this shit to Indy is a farking idiiot. This site used to be sort've reliable for a movie rating but holy crap, is everyone 13 here or what?

Doesn't anyone understand the use of a 1-10 scale? 5 is AVERAGE. This movie was rated 7.9 when I just looked - Umm? No.

Not too good....It's possible I just got a messed up copy, but I watched this entire release on my tv and here are the problems I found (that I have never had with any other release)

A: Awful pixelation
B: The movie is too dark to watch in many places (though that's just ts's for you)
C: Sound cuts out for about 1 minute on cd2
D: Sound goes out of sync at random spots throughout the entire movie.

This took some watching, it is pixelated and dark in places, having said that I stuck with it because it was a good film.

I'm no expert so I can't rate the video but the sound was clear enough. I'd give the film 7, your whole family could watch it though I suspect the wife & kids might complain about the quality of the video.

But what do I know?

Overall not a bad release from POT. Decent for a TS, but not as good as I have seen in the past.
