All VCD/SVCD's should have sidebars because of the low bitrate.

I don't but i'm gonna wait for the Real Retal R1 DVDR. This rip comes from a rental source. Just like the first release of The Day After Tomorrow. No menu at all. as a SVCD rip though its a fine release

They obviously dont as we wouldn't have so many comments on the Sidebars if they did, Sidebars are great if the bitrate is low, and it means you dont have the TV cropping off the sides and top of the picture.
