-- is this a DVD player problem? or a file problem? (http://www.vcdhq.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=5288)
is this a DVD player problem? or a file problem?
when i watch the file off of my Hard drive, it plays perfect. then i take the file, burn it on a cd-r, play it on my dvd player and after like 20 minutes the sudio is out of sync. is this a dvd player problem? because it plays fine on the Pc.

Sorry, a little Phil Collins humor there....
hahahha phil colling was tha man. anyways its a apex1200, and im using nero 5580 to burn. and the bitrate is a default SVCD bitrate. i have played other SVCD's at the same bitrate and it was fine.
hey d00d if it plays fine on the Pc, that normally means it should play fine on the DVD player rite?
Su-su-sudio
It could be your media that you are using. Some times dvd players in general do not like media put inside them (brand, etc... like tdk or what have you), or it could be what format it is being burned in also (pal or ntsc) sometimes that does it to you also.
but...if it's a divx conversion that could be it too. brian
Bin and Cue
Burn the bin/cue files with nero. Don't convert to mpg with vcdgear because most times they will become corrupt. They will work fine on PC but not on dvd players.
In nero:
File>burn image>select cue
Burn it Track-at-once at a slow speed (max 8x).
Good luck
