-- Sideways *PROPER* - DVD SCR - FCR (http://www.vcdhq.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=54609)
Finally I was able to watch this movie...
Decent rls 16:9, audio real low had to turn up volume like 75-80%.
But the question I ask... How did this picture get nominated for best picture over like movies like Spiderman2 and Butterfly Effect?
Amazing... Movie was semi-ok, definatly no great movie in my eyes.
For its type of film i thought it was excellent. Anyways FCR fixed the problem with the SCREAM repack. Which had minor frame skips about every 1-2min. This one is definitely the release to get. Mega props to FCR for fixing this fine release!!
8/9/8 Pic still is NOT quite as clear for a DVDSCR as i would like, but once again that is because of the source DVD and is NOT the fault of FCR.
FCR seemed to fix the frame skips . Video is a little weak but as said before, thats the source material.
8/9/?
P.S. Butterfly Effect for best picture.... lol
"FCR" is blatantly misleading us with this release; it is clearly not a real DVD Screener. There’s no use in speculating on the source, but here are a few tell-tale signs that it’s just a homemade transcode to DVD-Video:
it IS sourced from a real dvd screener - but the new "encrypted" screeners mean they can't do a straight rip, it has to be copied with a dvd recorder - old vcr to vcr style (hence the interlacing and bitrate). this is OLD news.
not the best quality, but fuck I'll live with it until something better comes along (I had no probs with the scream rls, btw, apart from the lack of 16:9
7/7/9

What, did you want a happy-happy ending? Do you need to see him getting the girl? Did you say "awe man" when the film ended?
