problem burning cue/bin files

I have Nero 5.5 and am trying to burn a movie. I made sure the fist line in the .cue file points to the name of the .bin and has no path. I load the cue and it loads the .bin as it should and when i click burn it immediately goes to a save file as, and its trying to save an image.nrg. If i click cancel it says i aborted burn, if i clikc save it starts burning but doesnt work. I also tried Fireburner which i used to burn dreamcast games awhile back, and i load the cue and it loads the bin like it should. And when i click burn it burns and takes awhile as it should, and i even set the speed at 8x because someone on the fireburner forum said thats whta theres is set at although they have a 52x. Anyways even that doesnt work. My friend burned the same movie and had no issues, and says he's heard of the .nrg save as problem. My files are not corrupt, and i can even view the .bin im trying to burn in windows media player and it works fine. Anyways if anyone can help i'd really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Sounds to me like you're burning to the Nero Image Drive "thing" (a virtual writer in Nero) instead of selecting your actual physical CD writer... Although you'd be better of ditching that shite for ISO's and use BurnAtOnce instead - it's free, small and increases your penis size by 140%

Nero is sometime ur friend and sometime not In this case Nero is ur friend , You can also try these step's. Step1) Extract ur file into one Bin. file. Step2)Extract the mpeg. file with Iso Buster if you dont have that http://www.isobuster.com/ .Then ur Ready to use Nero

Thats a short version of the How 2'z

Good Luck

neversoft is correct..you have nero set to use the image drive instead of your cd/dvd writer..just change the drive setting

if you are stuck on Nero, you can 1) extract the bin 2) rename the bin to .mpg or .mpeg 3) simply drag into Nero and then burn.

BurnAtOnce is fairly nice too..
