Glubble: Safe browsing for kids through firefox.
Glubble
This could be quite handy for us parents.
Haven't tried it yet but will probably give it a go over the weekend when i get some time.
If you still have Internet Explorer then the kids would just click on that I suppose
yus, they could just open IE. Unless you delete all the available shortcuts to it and make sure that in the internet options that Firefox is the default browser.
not fool proof, but makes it damn harder for the kids to reset and use IE
Put the kids on limited user profiles and it makes it harder still.
Use k-9
and it becomes near impossible for them to do anything you don't want them to do

A recent update to K9 knocked-out the application on two PC's I've installed it on for friends/family so I've ditched that for the time being... Glubble could come in handy, thanks fuckface

That sucks shit about k-9. Forgot to tell ya olskoolfife: Great find! I have passed it to several people I know with kiddies.

Yeah, I'm not sure what K9 didn't like about those PC's... Both running XP with Firefox. I uninstalled, flushed the registry keys and even removed the remnants of the folders but after the reinstall the problem came back (it just dies on startup/launch, taking Internet access with it)
Heck, I blame K9 but Microsoft's shitty, untested updates are just as likely a culprit
