Went to a screening of this last night. Fucking great movie, funny, violent, stylish and factual (somewhat).

Best movie I have seen this year (so far)

Couple of bits of useless trivia I have found out from this movie.

Michael X was financed by John Lennon while in London and his lawyer in the charges of the murder of Gail Benson was paid for by John Lennon.

In the movie, Michael X is seen a couple of times with a guy that looks just like John Lennon. They never say in the movie that it is John lennon, probably because they don't want to be sued but it clearly is supposed to be the dead beatle who was known to have visited Michael X a few times.

So, when you watch the movie and see the Lennon lookalike, yes it is supposed to be him.

Yeah, me and the girl I'm talking to went and seen this. It was rather good. I knew it was based on a true story. But didn't know any thing about it. I didn't know what I was walking into. I seriously thought it would be a knock off of The Italian Job but it wasn't.

3 out 4 stars. Good call Cupid
