Oh I'm excited, something the ps2 could do, xbox, now the newer systems. That's not really great news, That isn't a selling point, It plays dvd's. If it played BR then I'd be impressed. but it doesn't so I'm not.

Yeah I'm not hyped about this system anymore. There hardware is great and innovative but the software for the most part is crap. Great idea Nintendo but next time put more adult games on the system, Fuck we are the ones buying this shit, (Adults) not kids.

I'll stick with my Shit Box 360, I'm just waiting for the 3 rings of death, I may pre-order my coffin so when it does happen I can just send it in.

We have been having a Wii Olympic games at work. Ev1 sorted into teams, the winning team plays off against each other and the overall winner takes home the Wii.

Good in theory, shit in practice, wasn't really fair on the good individuals since they shared their scores on questionably Olympic Wii bowling and Wii Golf with their initial team mates.

Wii's are for Gii's

i hate to say this, but i cant remember the last time i turned mine on. If it wasn't a present from the wife, i probably would have flogged it by now.

Maybe i should get it modded, might persuade me to play it more........seeing as i don't really need yet another dvd player

My Wii is modded and homebrew enabled and in all fairness, this is in the very early stages of development... In time this or something similar will evolve into an XBMC style "thing"

As for the quality of Wii games... Sure, there's a lot of crud but a lot of gems get overlooked as well. There's a few 3rd party titles should have done better but sank without a trace (like Zack and Wiki).

It's too easy to port PS2 games to the Wii but now the Wii is clearly going to remain top dog for some time to come, developers appear to be taking notice... Have a look at The Conduit for example

Oh yeah, and I'm shoving this thread in the tv/gaming/other section
