EU Parliament Vote

Not long now... http://www.europarl.europa.eu/elect...htm?language=en

Thoughts on this year's candidates?

What candidates? Got my polling card on Sunday but other than that haven't heard a thing about it.

I had the same issue - I finally found them at http://www.europarl.org.uk/ but I still can't see anything setting out the actual party manifestos (sp?).

No wonder they're expecting the lowest ever turnout...!

I agree, I can't find fuck all out about the candidates but there's a reason... They only closed nominations at 4pm today

I doubt the Pirate Party will have a candidate in my area (I might put my name forward for the next election... Although giving me any sort of power is probably a really, really bad idea!) otherwise they'd get my vote... It's the only party that I expect to do anything that's in MY best interests cos the rest of them are asshats.

UKIP all the way.

There will be a massive protest vote in the UK against the government's handling of the economy from which the Tories will mainly benefit. Few people will vote on EU issues as such.
