V - 8 (Detailed and colorful but has a bad strobing)
A - 7 (Hard to describe - not the best direct I've ever heard)
M - 1 (Other than a few jokes being funny the rest of the movie is pure shite)

like other audio from maven the wave pattern is completely inversed on one channel

an example would be

L: /\/\/\/\/\
R: \/\/\/\/\/
when it should be
L: /\/\/\/\/\
R: /\/\/\/\/\

so either demux the audio, inverse one of the channels with audacity, mux is back in...
or just play the audio on mono mode

either way do 1 of those and you will notice a big difference. i remember hearing about this being a method of antipiracy in some theaters but not sure why maven doesn't fix it them selves since its a home made rls

but also, great looking release forget about the lame nukers calling this a dupe when its the best TS out. hope they keep up the good work

Video 7.5 - 8 reason, it looks purposely darkened (1.06.00 example) so you don`t see much of the strobing plus alot of motion blur (slow down the first scene with the prince on the fake horse for quick check)
Audio 8 (good sound)

..and yeah the best version to get so far

what IS a Nuke & what dose it mean to Nuke a release. lol
it should be an interesting read.
BTW, VCDQ and its mods don't nuke releases
they just 'report' nukes that have been made.

The audio is inversed just like the night at the museum release a while back and "in the land of women" usually its done with TS's so perhaps it could be an antipiracy thing from theaters since both movies mentioned above were TS's.

Here is a bit more detailed instructions on how to fix it so that if you do burn it to dvd it won't go in your rear channels:



1. Open AVI with VirtualDub
2. Select Audio>Full processing mode
(video>direct stream copy)
3. Save audio as .WAV
4. Open WAV file with Audacity
5. Split Audio into seperate channels
(where it says "audio" on the left click that and "split stereo track" is on the bottom)
6. Select all data in Left channel
7. Select effects>invert
8. Save as .WAV (dont overwrite the other one!)
9. re-combine with VirtualDub (Video direct stream copy/audio from WAV)
10. Convert resulting AVI using ConvertX if you want to burn to DVD

With the audio fixed its pretty good.

I can't believe how much everyone has gotten into this release like this. It's a great release and too bad it didn't come out sooner, but it's still a great release. Thanks and welcome back if you guys are truly back. If so, you've created a hell of alot of buzz from people you wonder if they have a life?

Oh and who cares what MVS is gonna say, they are not a home made group, they piece movies together and releases them... I can say I don't remember a release from MVS that was ever as good as maVen's worst release. Having said that I have watched MVS releases in the past that were good....

maVen is back in business. Thank god the scene has one group who know what a quality release is. I'm guessing that french person from the NFO is their last cameraman because some of their movies had french subs in them (X-Men 3 for example). They must of lost their source until their new one now.

Glad to see maVen's back as "MOST OF US ARE " the rls is good just watched it on my divx player with the kids. Video is sharp with bright colours has a little motion blurr but overall very nice. The audio is ok but has its faults but as previously posted is easly fixed.

It's the best of the bunch so far but that's not saying much, is it ? Just because it's the almighty maVen doesn't make this great, and it's not. Audio is fixable yet it's bloody awful as is. Video is ok..nowt special.

good copy, needs work as stated. i didnt like the cam audio at the end b/c it had ppl laughing and stuff, so i spliced in the other cam audio.

release itself seemed nice. had the wave effect to it, but other than that really nice colors and clarity.

Does anyone else sense something a little fishy about this release? The email address is not the same as the one in previous releases, and the note seems a little... umm... well you know... I have a feeling this isn't really maVen. Same as I did with those VideoCD releases awhile back.

Fix worked great. Definately needed. Without fix - it is barely watcheable. Thanks for the fix instructions. File size was 1.4GB in size. But, who cares when watching on xbox with a 250gb HD.
Movie was good overall. Better than reviews. Not as good as 1 or 2, but def funny parts.

Looks better on my 20" television than on my 19" widescreen HD computer monitor.

Video is excellent, rarely have I seen better cam video.

Sound is phenomenal, no hissing, static or anything else. The cam audio with laughter at the end is way at the end of the movie and not worth bitching about. After all, who the hell is going to save this release forever even after the DVD rips are out?

I hope maVen sticks around.

just noticed, this release is missing at least one scene. when arthur is talking to merlin. right when he starts crying the scene cuts out and is missing about 38 seconds (54:28). pretty obvious

In the current climate this is a good release. Superb pic - good in light and dark scenes. Sound is ok after being doctored. Edit the bit missing with the wizard and it still makes sense to the run of the film. Slap the camera release audio over the silly laughter at the end and you have a great release. I don't know if the end audio was deliberate or what but to me it sounds like that laughter is 'put on'. If this truly is maven great to see you back boys. Its been a really shit couple of months on the scene. Cheers.
