Awesome sound, picture is quiet good but has typical CTP traits, the AR is off its quiet obvious the source is fs and its squashed to some shitty AR its also not VCD 2.0 compliant, its XVCD.

Great work Centropy. Just watched the sample... downloading movie now. Sound is really nice, heard no hissing but the video seemed a tad blury.

i have only watched a few secs of the first cd, but i have to say its nice out so fast and not a cam, i guess its true u cant beat the best, sorry hbo.......ops i mean ftf......ops i mean thats right your really not hbo(yeah ok and im hung like a horse) quality over speed no matter how fast u get out you releases they will never match centropy or teg these boys have it down pat. Like I said only seen a few secs so ill give it a 8/6/6 to be fair ill post another after i watch it much props centropy, but i like the comodor 64 intro better (hehe) Peace out yall...........................

another solid release. sound is a little better, but the video still aint quite right. there's some room for improvement, but still plays hella fine in my dvd player. I was glad to see ctp release this one

damn, dudes, just see this fucker in a good theater. like mine! i'm not sure i'd have liked it had i seen it on a small screen first.

for all the shortcomings in the plot, flash and style sure made up for enough to make me forget it all the round-the-theater swooshes and chest thumping bass. that or the fact that our best house has the subs pumped a twee bit too high...

and that one vampy chick is pretty DAMN hot!

time to dig out the LCD projector I think.

video of 8.2 is a joke. it's not bad but filmed at a weird angle. i'd give it a 4-5. sound seems to be ok tho.

definately a new supplier. sound is awesome, but video is not as good as their previous rlses. kinda pixilated in spots; not the usual smooth ctp vid. the other guy had a better camera.

not an GREAT release, but very good... a hint of the infamous centropy blue here and there, and a couple of bright spots, a couple of really dark spots, but overall a very clear picture... audio is very commendable, with no trace of any buzz or hissing! Another job well done centropy! good job boys

decent release..

it wuz a decent release.. bright here and there.. blue here and there audio wuz a lil low @ some points had to turn the volume way up to hear what they were sayin but.. shrugs
the movie it self tho i wuznt all that impressed with it ..

looking at the JPGs, the picture looks WAAY to orange. the chick's father is supposed to look completely cadaverish, and Blade had no hint of warmth in his face for almost all of the movie. i just checked the scene today at my theater...

I'll allow this, but next time, when you comment, please have seen the release or sample. The JPEG Samples are partially only as good as one of the Updaters makes it.

is it true that whatever the crap is that is trickling down to abvcd (usenet) is some DiVX or SMR bullshit? i'm temporarily using newsreactor at the moment (damn computer's down), and threads are hard to keep track of at the moment...

A very nice rls as usual from CTP, Although i did notice the sound was a bit out of sync in places ...strange.

Trying to play a vsd on my cd rom drive what does it need to play.

just use windows media player m8y.

Just got this one myself... I give both video & sound a 7. I'm playing this by the way on an Apex AD-500W.. seems to be OK but the sound is off by about 1/2 a second.. still very watchable. In Media Player the sound and video seem to match perfectly.

Just saw this, its a Good Release...no problems...Outstanding for a TS..other than the stretching its prett much perfect. Must be the shoes that Centropy members wear...Its gotta be the shoes man...

I just wish they would release it in ntsc instead so the AP get correct on my tv.

The sound and picture sync worked fine in my apex 1500 didnt see any problems there in the pal original ctp format=release.

I did convert it to ntsc and it was a slight quality loss, hardly noticable and i get full screen and the AP get much better for us ntsc people.

Not bad ctp but use whatever you used in RE since that one seems a little better in quality but like i said this release is not bad at all if you take the AP out like i did when i converted it.

The plot

Did any of you actually watch the movie itself and notice how horrible the plot was? It made absolutely no sense, there was no detail to it, and nothing was connected right.

Ok, here's the deal. Centropy puts that blue filter on movies that kill the quality badly. Why do they keep putting it on all their releases? I mean, their TS's are good, but I'm sure that if at least they removed that blue filter and didn't darken the picture a bit, their releases would kick ass! Also, it's kinda blurry. I am VERY bitchy when it comes to movie quality. Any little defect caught by my eye, and I stop watching. I like watching something that looks and sounds good. But damn, that blue filter kills it! Plus the smoothning they put on the picture that makes it look blurry and darkning. This release, as well as Resident Evil would've looked great if it weren't for that blue filter. I hate looking at a picture just to see that blue or any other color is predominant over the others. You guys might not notice it, but look a little closer. In those scenes where there's alot of light, the light comes out blue, when light is supposed to be white (:P) Anyway, I give it a 7/6/8. Movie is good, but the audio and video still need some work :/

Centropy 2nd to None

Just watched this release and it f****ng rox on my standalone, even the Centropy intro wasn't half bad. Audio in sync - 9 outta 10, video - damn good and gets a 9 outta 10 too. Thats a cool 19 outta 10 overall (u got a bonus of one for being the dogz bollox). Keep 'em coming, u got a fan here.

Finally got off my ass to watch something tonite.. i made a good choice

considering most of the movie is set at nite (its a vampire flick, not gonna be much running thru parks on a hot sunny day) the colours were NEVER gonna be awesome, but its nicely done, clear for most of the time.. but one of the scenes at the end when they're in daylight.. oh the colours are soo nice

XVCD as usual , so low audio bitrate, high video bitrate, hence a few problems will occur. Also, the aspect ratio changed from a 4:3 fullscreen to a letterbox for a lot of the scenes, so i'd be interested to know what print this came off.

oh and for plonk "[you forgot to put an EDITED BY pHO or whomever] " if it doesn't have 'edited by pHo" i probably didn't do it, but we're not abliged to signature everything we take out, as the edits are usually done at the verification stage, and theres usually a lot of posts that need checking.

Not a really good releases if we compare it to the standard CTP have forged themself. The sound is perfect as usual, but the picture is really really blue this time. I was feeling in some parts I was watching a Blue&White picture.

No big deal doh, it's watchable, but I regret I burned it cause I have a blind trust in CTP quality. This one was not what one could expect of them

this is the only time i've ever been dissapointed with CTP. I think the colors are bad, it's muddy, bright, and it has average sound. Props to centropy for the mega-fast rls, but It would be great for a group like for teg or tmm to proper it...

oh ya plonk, it is spelled Lecter, not Lector sorry just kinda annoys me

I think this release was a huge let down. The audio is terrible. All during this flick I was turning the audio down and then back up when I couldnt hear. Second I noticed that sometimes the lip movement was off in a couple scenes. But I cant complain when all it cost was some bandwidth. This release gets a 6/10. My advice for anyone is just wait for a screener.

The quality is good, just the aspect ratio is off. I was looking at old releases and noticed the Centropy used to release a lot, until they got called the best group and everything. Anyways, release is a 7/6/4

Tight Movie! Great Video and Good Audio! Couldn't be better, also you got it out the same day of the release. CTP you ROCK! Wish you would release more.

I've had this release laying around for awhile and i just got around to watching with some friends. We were blown the fiznuck away! The movie itself was great, sound was really good, and the video did the job for a TS.

I'm glad centropy is poppin on on cylinders again! great release!
