Conclusion:
This is a re-do of an old 1983 asian movie called zu warriors(With famous asian actors too). This release comes to you before this movie is yet in theaters

First Note: This release did NOT get nuked off any of my sites, and i checked out the sample myself and i admit
this is a great release compared for a workprint, you rarely see workprints as good as this one out there

Second note: gallonFREAK, you sound like a little kid that just now got his access for supplying shells or some shit with your nose up... and let me warn you that im sure your gonna lose it soon

Yeah, this has been out for a long time, I saw the trailer for it when I saw Brotherhood of the Wolf in the theaters. It was supposed to be released in America but was never done. I bought the DVD late last year and it had already been out for months then. It is a pretty good movie though.

To listen to you people squabble on this site degrades the site even more. VCDQUALITY isnt even close to one of the best out there the way it is for they dont even list half of what is really encoded out there. SO get off your high horses trying to flame bitch argue and complain on boards that are meant for...yeah thats right....Q U A L I T Y purposes...the quality of a release and the movie.

The quality of a release does not ask you to determine whether a group sucks or doesnt suck...look at FTF they have their ups and downs just as every group does. We havent seen consistant releases of quality since ***. But the point is rate it tell us what you saw wrong or didnt see wrong and dont flame the groups.

now back to what I was saying earlier...

Zu Warriors IS a new movie that HAS NOT came to theaters yet but has a trailer. It is not "the legend of zu fast empire" or "zu: warriors of the magic mountain".

I am sorry you are too lame to know this if you still think otherwise but maybe you should watch more movies and the trailers at the beginning of them. This movie still isnt out in theaters and IS in case you are too lame to get a copy of it an awesome movie.

as far as crouching tiger....no...this movie is not based the same.

Now for what these boards are for and that I have finally opened my mouth to people who most of which dont matter and post here only cause they think they are leet getting movies that are served on IRC which isnt half the releases that are actually out...

This WP of the movie is great....for being a WP....it is very watchable and came early therefore in all actuality of video and audio and the movie itself.... 7/6/9

Yeah, In fact I have a SVCD and a Divx for this movie from about a year ago.

I know that they are planning on rls this in North American theaters some time.

So if this is in English, I could see it being a w/p.

I probably wouldn't grab it... rarely are dubbed versions better than the original.

"Zu: Warriors From The Magic Mountain (1983)" was the first. Then in 2001 came "The Legend Of Zu (2001)[AKA: Zu Warriors]"

You can still buy "Zu: Warriors From The Magic Mountain (1983)" on DVD.

Both these flicks have been released in the past by various groups.

You can't buy "The Legend Of Zu (2001)[AKA: Zu Warriors]" DVD any longer in North America. Disney now ownZ exclusive North American distribution rights to this film. Buying the dvd in North America is suppostly illegal.

Wish they would have put on their nfo if this was subbed or dubbed. Then I could see why the workprint.

This movie sucked back in november of 2001 when i got the dvd rip, now it sucks even more since lame groups decide to reencode old stuff...and a lousy job they did at that...

To answer bmvtoys question on whether or not it is dubbed or subbed.it is english subbed but maybe its jus me but the sound is so outta sync i mean the get done fightin and then u hear the swords ching ..PoS release by my opinion.

They have had all of 4/5 releases and this is the only totally useless one. They probably didn't realise that Zu Warriors & The Legend Of Zu were the same thing. (tho if they had put a little more effort into researching the movie they would have)

Give them a break damn.

P.S. Side note about the old Hbo, there stuff was nuked 90% of the time without even being looked at, this is because they released allot of CAMs and mislabled TSs. A lot of sites have a tendancy to nuke CAMs without even looking at them. (Not at all saying there were actually good quality releases tho lol)

Well, if you want people to stop ruining the scene you should stop posting too. Your ideals are horrible, and you seem to be the most hated person in this forum.

At least they are putting movies out there. I don't see any gallonfreak releases out there (maybe they are nuked on all of your "top sites" (funny, I didn't think that people nuked stuff on kazza, since that's where you get all of your stuff from).

As far as this release goes, did you ever stop to think that maybe the group were confused because the movie is going to be dubbed when it is released here? Probably not. You seem to think that since your one site nuked it, it's nuked everywhere. Give it up man, nobody cares about your opinion.

ZU: WARRIORS FROM THE MAGIC MOUNTAIN is from 1983 and is the original.

THE LEGEND OF ZU is from 2001 and is the second movie.

DVD is available from overseas. Disney bought the rights to this film and lots of other Asian films. They changed the title a bit and possible dubbing it. So its the same with a few edits and under the Disney monkier. The Asian release is much better if you can find it.

once again you people may have got it all wrong. First lemme say i didnt dl it since its impossible now anyways. But ill clue you clueless people in. First Zu Warriors came out in 1983 ( http://us.imdb.com/Title?0086308 ). Then in 2001 Tsui Hark decided to do a sequel called the Legend of Zu ( http://us.imdb.com/Title?0286098 ). Miramax bought the rights for this movie and will be releasing it in a few months.

Now I agree this rls should be nuked because it is most likley the miramax cut which means that it will have about 30 minutes chopped off. The movie is really cool and should be watched in its entirety.

The way to tell which version it is is to see if its dubbed or subbed. If its dubbed then the are offering a pre-rls of a great movie.

But no matter what it is it outta be nuked just cause the groups own nfo is wrong. "A Reproduction Of a 1987 Film... ". Although i am all for bringin some cool asian flicks to the masses.

Zu Warriors workprint

You guys are all abunch of fucking morons give A-Team a little credit i mean shit every big movie page out their says this is coming to theators in february to the us. There has not ever been done a workprint of this movie so why not release it even if their is a svcd of the older movie this is still remake whitch means its better . On the position of workprints i think any workprints no matter how old they are should be released if they are good quality becuase workprints carry scenes that will be deleted or edited in the final versions of the movie to make certain ratings from the mpaa.

why give A-Team any credit....when all they did was recoded something that was release last yr..The group comes out with nothing but crap..and u asked us to be more greatful for there effort..maybe they should put more effort into there work...other then that i have nothing more to say

Ok. this is a rough one.

Im not gunna flame. just point out the facts

Video : passable. but not the best 5/10
Audio: really bad. gets very out of sync 15 mins into first cd 2/10
Movie:?

Subtitled. Can hardly see the subs.

Seemed ok as a movie. The Audio being out of sync was weird. but the subtitles were grainy and hard to read as well, and the people talking WAY outta sync makes it more complicated to follow
I straight burned this with nero from the bin/cues so i think theres no fault of my own.


I guess ill wait for the english version translation coming soon, its being rereleased and called Zu Warriors (as the title of the release seems to state.

This is deffinitley not a workprint of the american ver!! The opening says the legend of zu. What a bunch of morons a-team is. They didnt even notice it says Legend of Zu at the beggining. Its a workprint of the original movie released over seas. Anyways horriblly subed(you need binoculars), video was alright, sound was horrible (out of sync it seemed), and its a workprint for the original release which there is a dvdrip of. That about rounds things up, horrible release by a group severly lacking in the intelligence department, with obviously no idea! I say this not trying to be a dick but just giving my 2 cents on things.

Lame release yes. It has been said before but I will say it again.

This is I suppose The Legend of Zu (Ekin Cheng, Cecilia Cheung and more) in the "american" version. It's a remake yes of the movie Zu Warriros (Yuen Biao, Brigitte Lin, Adam Cheng).

The Legend of Zu has yes, been out a while with the original language and subtitles with it. Zu Warriors also. I have seen them both and both are good.

I've got the original chinese DVD of the 2001 new version "The Legend of Zu" this film rocks, not going to bother to download this version, no point. If it aint broke why fix it. Miramax will butcher this movie and give it a stupid dub, it's not hard reading subs.
