Very nice,The way the scene has been the

these good old fashion old school ts's.

From sample..
Picture looks very nice only possible problem i noticed was the audio. With headphones on i could hear a deffinate hum and also another strange noise but after a second look/listen this could be because there is a water sprinkler going in the background.
Did CTP choose this scene for sample purposly to cover up the hum? I'm not sure until i have a proper look at the release, maybe me just being cynical but there is a hum all the same.

Dwayne, once I get the whole movie I will review/rate it.

Correction. I orginally posted to defend Correlations release since I didn't think it was all that bad. And secondly Dwayne tried to call me out, so I responded with "Once I get the whole movie I will review/rate it." So calm the fuck down. Thank you.

Posted by Anno on 05-17-2005 06:21 PM:

Had a look at full copy now.. Yes there is a hum, mostly noticable in the quiet scenes and right at the start. Doubt if it will be that annoying though.
Slight flicker on pic although not as much as in monster in law.
Picture also seems a bit bright to me but it's colourfull and a worthy CTP release.

7/7/?

not sure quite how people can give it 9s when there is room for improvement audio and picture wise. I mean is it DTS? no. i know latest hasn't been "cracked" but all the same it isn't up in the 9s
But hey thats your opinion so be it.

Nice release all the same.

Posted by PrOpANe on 05-17-2005 06:22 PM:

Very nicely done Centropy. Video looks great...minimal flickering, no darkness around the edges. Looks a little cropped on the top and bottom, but nothing we can't handle.

Audio seems a little tinny. Definately direct, but we have become spoiled with the DTS discs as of late. Everything very audible though, will watch the whole release later today.

8.5/8/?

Edit: Just finished watching the entire release, and i stick with what I said before. Very well done, we need more TS's like this coming out! However, i didn't think the movie was too good, very dissapointing.

New vote: 9/8/5

Another nice rls from centropy. Good to see theyre hard at work. I'd say the video is slightly better than Monster in Law's, butnot enough to warrant a 9, imo.

Audio isn't THAT bad, but there's definitely a slight humming sound that could have been caused by a number of things. I wouldnt think that it would be bad enough to actually bother anyone though, so I wouldn't give it lower than a 7. At least it's direct. . .

As for Correlation's rls, this is the 1st KAS rls Ive seen, guess I'm not quite cool enough yet. lol.

Overall..... 8 | 7 | 7

Watched some rar's now.
The wellknown centropy quality.
The video is just excellent for a Telesync. The colours are just great, no red or blue tint like in other TS-releases. The audio is like others already said with a bit of sizzz in the background. Not annoyong at all. But still noticable
Overall a good copy of a movie that I haven't viewed......yet

considering it's a TS

ONE WORD: CROPPED.

I have NEVER seen CTP crop this much EVER

I Am disappointed. it does not need to be cropped this much. A good 35-40% of the picture is missing!

6/8/-3 (Will Farrell is going downhill)

Very happy to see another release this week. Thank you guys, sometimes I wish I could offer something to the groups for their effort, oh well. The video looks nice and I really like how the colors and clear video is coming around in most releases. Last year there was very dusty looking releases. I do notice a slight hum, but I didn't hear it on all the systems I tried. I don't care though and just happy to heck it's not a cam audio. Thanks again guys.

Very nice, it's good to see centropy so active again. Picture is the typical great quality for centropy, I thought the sound was good. There is a hiss but it's hardly noticable imo.
I'm a sucker for a Will Farrel movie.

this is the first ts ive grabbed in awhile, anyways its ok quality not that great. its the french source judging by the opening scenes and video quality is good enough. audio on the other hand isn't that great. direct yes, but i don't know how to describe it, flat i guess, i dont know, not much bass, and a little bit of a hum/buzz. overall alright release.

The muffled hum and some high contrast suck a bit, but overall nice release. Nice colours and all too as its a "daytime" movie (no dark scenes).

If you can download the sample, then u can probably download one of the rars. Therefore leech one of the rars, rename to .mpg and u can see ur own selected sample. Answer solved.

Accusing me of judging the sample like a stupid noob?

Instances where its VERY obvious that its WAY overcropped:

[TAKEN FROM CD1]

0:09:20 - Half the chicks head is cut off.

0:19:34 - Cut off just above his eyes

And to prove im not lying, View said samples:

0:19:34 =

http://img289.echo.cx/img289/728/19348tp.jpg

Yep. i sure judged from the sample

Learn to shut the fuck up and know what your saying before you speak, and NEVER accuse others (who you dont know) about judging from anything. look at the shots you fucking self! (noob! )

NOTE: This thread is meant for the idiot who said its not overcropped and that im a hater!

What exactly is wrong with the AR on the sample pic, or the facts its 768x576, What would u use?

Horton, looking through this, i think it was shot this way, this was filmed for Super 35mm, so the Cinema and WS DVD willl be cropped badly anyway.

8/6/4

Video is good and more than adequate, sound is iffy and sounds distorted at times, and i dont like Will Ferrel movies

Posted by HeartOfStone on 05-18-2005 02:52 AM:

Do groups ever capture the whole screen? I think that I've seen it done in a couple of releases but not many. But wouldn't that make the picture very, very small?

Hmm...that could explain it actually. Just looked to me like it was *really* cropped - when it comes down to cropping just above the eyes, i call it overcropped :P but hey..you could be right. might explain it actually - i flicked through CD2 and it doesnt seem as apparent there, and they probably didnt change angles, so maybe it is shot this way

Once again all the sampler's throw the reviews off...

Video is good @ 7... But a HUGE step for ctp crew... As compared to some of the more recent svcd releases this one is as washed out as ctp gets... The colors are getting a touch better then, lets say team america, the sharpeness of the picture has improved much to...

Sound @ 3... BOOOOOOOOOOO!!! it has the high pitched ring that one usually gets off of a cam, sorry guys this sound almost made me not watch it... Check your EQ's...

Movie @ 9... Thank you ctp for the cat like reflex on this... I hope that you relize that EVERY one of us on this day and age of 'legging says THANK YOU for your hard work, and making some of us out there relize that we can release to... Alot better then my teacher to!!!

::::EDIT::::

Movie was fucking FUNNY!!! It is a kids movie but there are some good adult jokes... As for Mike Ditka's acting, he blew me away for a NFL coach in a supporting role in this movie... I would recomend watching this movie if you liked bad news bears, or that movie elf...

ok my thoughts:

video- 8.5- pretty damn good for a telesync....i dont think i ever burned a dvd from a ts because the're usualy not that good of a quality to watch a big tv..... 1 point off for the excessive cropping or whatever you want to call it......it doesnt looked cropped yet the AR ratio is messed up..... .5 off for some flickering

audio- 5- ok, the sound makes it impossible trying to play this on anything other then a pc due to the hiss...otherwise sound would have been fine

movie- 2- i'd say this is one pretty bad movie...and im a will ferrel fan and thought this movie was awful.....for the life of me i dont get how this movie got rated c's and b's
