Russian TS floating about since the 14th (ish)

So I would take a guess at them both sharing that source.

Props to Pukka...definitely worth the download. Little dark in some areas but not bad for a cam...audio is nice as well with no sync issues and it's complete.

M - 8

Thanks Pukka for this fast, very watchable release with no "issues".

Watched this earlier, Damn nice job!

V=8 Russians can cam for sure.
A=7 Slightly muffled, Sync good throughout.
M=8 Better than I thought it would be.

Nice early release.

Outstanding video and audio quality again from PUKKA. And released so quickly. Congrats to the new master of the Scene. All hail PUKKA. Maven who? Centropy again? A yes to both? Yep.

M ? Haven’t had the time yet but with this quality I'm certain to enjoy.

After watching half the movie, audio not as good as I thought. At times tends to fade in and out, and is not as full as expected. Movie itself at least an 8. Good stuff.

Watched this all the way through: Props to the camer on this rlse, excellent video for such an early TS even has full titles at end, decent colours and good in dark scenes.
Cant see this being bettered until TC.

Grab This, 1 of the best TS's in a very long time.

V 8.5 Excellent job
A 8 Good quality and sync for such a quick rlse
M 8 Back to basic bond without all the unrealistic stunts

Props to Pukka for bringing us this rlse so quick, russian or not, getting the English audio and rlsing so soon deserves credit. Best Group around at moment

Thx for rlse guys

That so called TC is this same TS.

Great for such an early release.

WATCHED ALL THE WAY THROUGH

video - 9 (almost as good as it can be for a telesync...maybe a tad blue and a teeny bit blurry but excellent, even in dark scenes)

audio - 7 (way too much compression on loud parts but for the most part its very good, out of sync for approx. 2 minutes throughout the entire film)

movie - decent

Librium release:

6/5/? [Sound is way too hollow/low?]

Pukka release:

I'm not sure if it's the same video. I only watched the sample of both and I'd say that this copy looks better.

8[very lil blur, or out of focus?]/7 [sound is a lot better, clear]/?

Edit: Watching on a 20" and this is very very good. Camera is a little to the right, but you hardly miss anything from what I can tell [no names in beginning are cut off]. The sound [through my stereo] sounds nice and loud, maybe the voices are a little low [if that combination is possible 'loud/low']. Wonderful release all around. Haven't noticed any sync issues or anything. As far as I can tell there will be no need for another release until a Telecine, Screener or DVDScreener come out.

I saw this in theatres the night it came out and enjoyed it a lot. Next night I find this copy online....INSANE! Great quality for a release so quick.

FROM SAMPLE:
audio - 9

video - 7, not perfect, but still very watchable.

movie - 9, great flick. I suggest seeing it in the theatre first though.

Posted by nickrolando on 11-18-2006 10:58 PM:

anyone having a problem?

On Disc 1 there r29 is missing.

Posted by iljs on 11-18-2006 10:58 PM:

Great pre, good colors a little dark but good clear pic throughout.

Audio is nice as well, not much to it but its syncd well and direct for sure.

Movie was ok, a decent bond definetly not amazing.

8/8/7

Also to you idiots comparing PUKKA to CTP please stfu. PUKKA has a russian source and a screener source. CTP cammed there own shit. THere is no comparison. PUKKA has to cry to get syncers all the time for their russian silvers and r5 retails.

Posted by FoGgEdOuT on 11-18-2006 11:00 PM:

My friend told me to see this movie, so I decided to check this release out.

From the Sample (Rated for TS Quality):

Video: 10 (The quality is absolutely amazing, especially for a quick release like this)

Audio: 8 (Great quality, Slight hiss in the background but that could be my headphones)

Movie: ? (Haven't seen the entire movie yet)

there are 2 russian telesyncs released. One has the same resolution as this and is the same source. The other is higher quality and has a resolution of 608x272.

Also this release is missing roughly 4 minutes of video because the good russian telesync is the same length as this, but is missing roughly 4 minutes of the credits and 9 seconds of the intro but it is 2 hours 20 minutes 12seconds and pukkas is 2 hours 20 minutes 11 seconds

7 for video
7 for audio
? for movie

Exclamation based on sample

Decent, not perfect, not bad based just on sample...

Will watch in a bit and update review

V- 7.9 same qual as saw3
A- 7.8 didn't notice anything...
M- 7.8

UPDATE - duh.. forgot to update.. I'm still in the dark as to when this movie takes place... Is this a totally new Bond? It starts out as if it's in the past.. but takes place in the present... As if he just turned 007... I'm still confused... Movie was pretty decent action fare.. I still like the original Bond formula better...

I too thougth it was a piece of shit when I watched it, but after watching it you realise it's actually really good when thinking back. Like some weird subliminal

Posted by dentnz on 11-19-2006 11:31 PM:

Nice!!!

V:8 - Tiny bit blury in spots
A:8 - Audio is heavily compressed in the first 5 minutes or so (during intro sequence especially - and a bit through the chase sequence
M:8 - Really good Bond film. Much different to previous outings. Bond is harder (tough mofo) but gets his arse kicked around alot too (more realistic). Comedy is basically non-existant, which makes for a darker and more serious film. Tad long towards the end, and maybe needed a few more flashy ladies and perhaps some cooler gadgets...

Overall, a great realease from Pukka and the Ruskis!!! Well worth the download - even the two disks. I think Pukka is basically doing the best releases at the mo.

Very decent copy, extremely watchable. Thanks a lot PUKKA.

Posted by frak on 11-20-2006 09:50 AM:

watched this on the TV tonight (60")

This is the best TS I've seen in a long, long time. Could pass for a average TC.

Video is sharp, colors are good (a little faded) and the sound is very good (no hissing, etc, only a few spots where it drops in sound level for 30 seconds).

Movie... sad day for the Bond series. This guy looks more like a bad guy/boxer than a bond. Movie dialog wasn't clever or witty and the story is average.

Great job Pukka.

V=8, just a little angle.. Nice colors.
A=7, just a few times I noticed a switch in audio quality
M=8, what it misses in action, it makes up for in suspense

Bottomline: Perfect release so soon, for this solid Thriller!!

not the great TS of mvn or indeed ctp...
however pretty damn nice.

The video isn't bad, nor is the audio, just not what I'd consider great either. But more than watchable. Saw this in the theater, fantastic movie, vastly superior to the last 3 Bond flicks and an all around excellent movie. (And a very good adaptation of the book, they did a great job w/ the ending, comparatively speaking.)

Only downer? Where the hell were the naked Bond girls in the intro, dammit.

Posted by fleeto on 11-20-2006 09:43 PM:

as good as i think its gonna get , watchable anyways

Posted by ol_perfesser on 11-21-2006 01:41 AM:

This is probably as good as it gets for a next day release. All the way through the final credits. Must have been done in an empty theatre. Sound fluctuates - loud music and sound effects, low speaking. Maybe surround sound and sitting by the back speakers <g>. Non-stop action for most of the movie. Not much of a plot otherwise. Interesting update of the Fleming novel. Poker instead of baccarat, Prague instead of Monte Carlo, elipse instead of whatever Russian spy group (spectre?)

Hope awards season will get us a SCR of this

This was a really good Bond film, you guys have to remember that its the 1st Bond movie and is showing how he becomes our loved James Bond, so he's going to be rough around the edges
it showed how he finally started wearing tailored suits, refining his lady killer tactics, why he uses his real name etc

and its the first bond so he wont have all the neat gadgets yet

thats why the very last scene is so important with the "bond, james bond" and the shot of him

what pisses me off is that old lady as M, she shouldnt be in there if its the first bond film -_- but then i guess a lot of other things shouldnt be int here :/

Posted by emoheadbanger924 on 11-21-2006 08:35 AM:

After watching an hour of it converted to DVD-R

V-8 (a good telesync, not great but good)
A-6 (not good at all, dialogue is hard to understand sometimes and the action scenes are filtered too heavily)
M-10 (watched in theaters today and loved every minute of it!!!)
