Yeah I got it today, its fine. Usual single player malarky, and obviously the fantastic multiplayer mode.

I have NEVER seen the fuss with any of the Halo games! Sure, they might look pretty but Halo 1 and 2 didn't capture my interest for any longer than 20 minutes. I cant see Halo 3 being any different!

As for the game, just had a session on it, multiplayer, and its been a right laugh. The theatre mode is great, showing all your mates how bad someone is after the game is over can cause classic arguments!

Did anyone buy the limited edition in the metal case ?

Seems there is a possible problem with the disk being loose and scratched, microsoft have noted the problem and are offering a discreplacement for anyone that wants it.

Mine was loose but luckily was'nt scratched.

No it was'nt the one with the helmet it was this one , i only got it because i brought it the day before the official uk launch and everyone had already pre-ordered the standard edition.

It only cost an extra 5 pounds.

4 player co-op on legendary is just that.

The graphics could be better. The polygon edges and landscape lines are quite jagged at times, even at 1080p. I noticed this in the beta but thought it would be improved for the final.

The graphics are barely comparable to Oblivion.

M$ probably made Bung ie tone it down in hopes it won't fry even more piece of fucking shit 360s. Cocksucker$.

From what I understand, not only is it using an "old" engine but it's only rendered at 1152×640 then scaled-up to 720p... Which is why it looks scabby compared to many 360 games.

Then again, good graphics do not equal good games.

the jaggies are not seen by everyone actually, i havent seen one yet.

a while back one of the dashboard updates somehow disabled anti aliasing on some peoples console. this causes jaggies to be seen more often than other people.

well, considering microsoft still owns partial stock in bungie, bungie has moved up to 2nd party developer status to MS.

On a side note has anyone played team slayer with more than 8 people or regular slayer with more than 5 people yet ?

Its says upto 16 players for xboxlive but ive yet to get anywhehre near that amount of players yet.
