Decent rls from UTi.

FS, could do with a bit of cropping. Bit dark in some areas, audio is not too bad at all. Very good for a cam.

Fuck paying to see this cash cow anyway. Get it for your kids for free.

the AR is a little off, don't know if it'll get nuked for it ... it's only a CAM, and a pretty decent one at that. Watching CD1 now, and yes they could've cropped a bit, but it's good none the less ...

Pretty good sound, not too hollow, I think they must've went to a late night screening or something to get that little noice in the CAM, werd ... def props, we'll miss you if you leave, and we'll greet you more if you stay ... Hope to see more of your CAM's ... but good luck if you leave

Just been upped to one of my sites, grabbed the sample an it seemed a tad dark! I was gonna go to the cinema to watch this today (its only £2.50 in the day) But now im grabbin this! anyways down to rating.............

Finished watchin it and gotta say its not amazing. Its very watchable but dark, sound is good apart from the guy camming it kept coughing! The movie sorta lets the book down a little but most movies never live up to the book anyway! As for the Bad AR thing if you have a wide screen tv watch it in 16:9 an it stretches the picture so it looks perfectly fine. Even on standard TVs it doesnt look too bad an most new ones have a 16:9 button to compress the picture anyway so it shouldnt be a problem!

Side note: if you have downloaded the version thats in VOB format it isnt UTi's rls. That version has been floatin round torrent for a few days already and from what i hear its shit!

My bad the UTi havent cammed this UTi have just encoded from the VOBs from the version floating around on BT! The only difference being the one from BT one had some trailers at the start! That sux!

Nuked all over the place for some bizarre reason. I saw the ratings for this and found that very weird.

looks not bad for st rls, just running it thro my encoder @ 16.9 and it makes a massive diff

This is a bogus nuke, first of all most sites don't allow CAM's anyways, so that might also be a reason, the AR is off, but that doesn't consitute a nuke by any means .... this sucks. Sheep Nukers Suck.

So instead of editing my review from earlier, I'll just put it in this post. It's a good copy for being out so early ... it's dark and the ar is a little off, but you can live with it being as it's free and you don't have to leave your house, and most it's not even in the theatre for most ppl .... so STFU

nice work..at an angle a little if you see the bottom with the black line..but its pretty damn clear...quality is lovely for a cam and sound is real good.. Uti will remain the king of cams..

Not bad for a Cam but I've seen better. Typical Cam sound but it's clear. The video looks ok enought but it has really bad AR. It's wide screen stretched to full screen. That's more than just a little of IMO. When things that are supposed to circles look like ovals and TV almost look like squares instead of rectangle you know the AR is really bad. Now that can be fixed in TMPGenc in if you chose do so.

Well, it was okay all around. The video had the slight tilt, off center, washed out (my kids thought it was black and white hehe) and cropped. Sound is a hollow, so you have to pay extra attention. Movie - well, it's Harry Potter, it is what it is.

Well I hate to see UTi part as well, alot of their cams were wonderful, this one I have to agree doesnt look like the UTi quality we have come to see and admire, very pixelated, even on a TV. but overall watchable for the first release.

Only complaint I have about the rls is that in CD1 I think when HP is walking down the hallway with the Maurders Map, if you notice the screen jumps to a scene with snape, I think there was a loss of about 30 seconds, maybe more or less, but other then that decent rls.

Movie 6 (IMO not the best of the 3 as many reviews state).

Very good rls for a cam, excellent work UTi, it is a shame you are no longer doing this sort of thing, you have always had excellent rls's good luck to you all in your futures. As for rating this movie I will have to give it a 6.5/7/x

part missing?

Is it just me or does there seem to be a jump in the scece on disk 2 at the 5 minute 15 second mark?
It seems as though there is probably about 30 second missing???

the first potter this year is very okich....
The camera men is coughing a few times throughout the film, a little bit of the left half of the screen is missing and the colors are in a degree not present. But this can be bettered on you r TV or with TMPGENC i guess.... Sound is overall very good for a CAM.
UTi has given us Potter first and good again!

Not bad with some additional cropping, increased brightness and colors, and a AR fix.
I can see why the Bra1n DVDcam was internal
This is the best copy until we get a good TS.

I'm rating this relative to other cams.

I have this playing on the TV right now, and and it's more than watchable. The audio is excellent and the video is adequate. Some AR/Cropping probs, but nothing that detracts much from the film.

(The major annoyances of hollow audio or colour flicker appear to be lacking.)

So, all in all a very good release, and I'm not sure if much will be gained waiting for a TS. (Unless major problems arise towards the end.)

Not bad at all for a CAM, thanx UTI! You will be missed.

Very easy to run it thru TMPGENC and fix both AR, brighten it abit (gamma correction) and YUV saturate to make it a bit more colorful.

Not bad UTi, sad to see u go Still make some of the best CAMS in the biz.. U will be missed. This had a dark and cropped pic, but for a Cam source..The only sound issue i found was camera man was pretty steady a few coughs about 3-4x per disc no biggie... I watched and enjoyed it
