wow, very nice quality, excellent sound for a cam, a huge improvement on the others of this film. to anyone who hasnt seen the sample, it is exactly the same quality as the descent.
overall, verrry slightly too bright, a minimal amount of graininess, but nonetheless amazing

Wow, now that's a good cam . LoL. GREAT video AND audio(as good as a cam can get at least). Great job by silvers and nice of em to offer advice to others on encoding(see the nfo).

Absolutely a Fantastic CAM. The beginning 5min, the AR is pretty squished and the pic a tad, rough and bright, but after it gets resized and the Cammer settles down. All is well. Also the sound is amazing for such a laugh outloud comedy. Except for the occassional laugh this could easily have passed for a Direct Source Audio. Mega PROPS to SiLVER. LOVE THE .NFO

3 cds = moronic

Best cam i have seen in ages. Brillaint picture the cam moves off screen for 2 seconds in the church and wobbles but not for long. Sound the first time you here laughter is when there playing football but not much, Sound is brilliant. Film is briliant i loved it.

nice release. video is good with amazing audio for a cam. there is alittle audience laughter towards the end of cd 3 though but it wasn't very loud.

Yeah im well impressed by the quality but one theres about 5 mins missing of teh film and 2 there is def sync issues nice try but sound shouldnt be getting 8 & 9s! Video is good cant understand how so many have not picked up on the missing part!!!

you people are out of your minds...8.8 VIDEO?! wtf?! the quality of this release is average at best. almost *ALL* the outdoor scenes (and most of the indoor ones) are completely washed out in white. the faces are completely white all throughout the movie. and don't gimme this "what do you expect from a cam?" nonsense...most good telesyncs/cams don't have this problem.

and, the sound is tinny and hollow (this, you can give a pass...but not the video)

the fact that this release is getting such high ratings leads me to believe that most people are either voting based on "herd mentality" ("well others say it's good quality, so it must be the case"), or they're just rating it based on the 2 second sample.

the movie overall was "okay", but the dinner and bedroom scenes are 2 of the funniest scenes i think i've ever seen in a movie...rivaling the cum scene from "there's something about mary".

best release i've seen of this one so far.

Cam moves a little bit but it's all good.

This is my first comment on a release so here i go. Very Nice Release, Poped this one in last night and watched it. A little croped but what cam isn't. Definitely watchable and bairly any noise from audience. CD 3's Audio gave me a little trouble but nothing to keep me from watching it. Props To Silver for there work on getting this out. Hopefully they will keep em coming.

I give credit to all release groups out there, reguardless of whats going on they still serve us the goods and save us all $$$..Even credit to all the groups that has gotten flamed on for some of their releases, I myself arent very picky when it comes to free movies, and personally dont understand why people would have something rude to say for a bad Cam/Ts...its free lol

Nice one, didn't see any out of sync issues at all.

Never seen a CAM as good as this I think, minor laughing at one point but never noticed anything else.

8/8/9 Great Stuff, Props To SiLVER.

Minor Issues:

1. Little bright (as others have mentioned), camera adjusting for about 15secs or so for one portion of the movie.

2. Some laughing in the crowd, easily ignorable. Little hollow (it's a CAM, I can't expect to get everything, I know)

3. Sync issue occurred on disc three, paused then played, appeared to be fixed, no biggie, prolly just my player.

Not bitchin or hatin of course, just stating things I noticed.

cam ratings

This is pretty damn good for a cam. The first 15 min or so was real annoying with the zooming in and out and the camera shaking like there was an earthquake at the theater. And whenever there was artificial light it was way to bright and it would just be a bright white spot on the screen or ppl's faces would just be half white. You all know what I mean, you've seen it before if you watch alot of cams and ts's. After that this was an awesome cam. There was one spot where I heard laughter but that was it. This movie is so fucking funny. Vince Vaughn had me laughing my ass off the whole time. Then comes Willl Ferell. "Mom get us some meatloaf!! FUCK!!" I lost it.

V - 8 (would have been 9 except for shaking cam and bright lights)
A - 9.5 (for a cam, shit they could have passed this off as a ts if it wasn't for the one laughter spot)
M - 9.5 (funniest movie so far this year)

Good for a CAM.
Pic a little bright, and the Camera isn't adjusted until about 10 minutes in.

Audio is good, laughter in a few parts.

Movie wasn't very good

ok this rls amongst others points me in 1 direction (only speculation as I do not deserve to know more)... a few old groups new names, svcd blah blah xvid group names, have thoughts, no i wont post, and same for these cams that are just magnificent
i think the audio people got hit hard, as no TS audio (minus 1 or 2 besides TC) have been direct since then... any way give me 2 hrs ill edit but 1/3 through this rls, id say the finest CAM quality video ive seen(maybe Charlie chocolate was better but cropped)(umm i said cam not ts, i know they are the same, but ts is usually if not always better) hell i love the audio, you know its cam, but not by much since the total disassemblement of DTS, either way this is a great cam, and very good by cam standard, heck even half decent in sound by non dts standard...

As much as I loved the movie Old School (often compared)....I just didn't think this one was as funny as people here have stated......and theres no lines in this movie as clasic as the will ferell "We have a big day at Home Depot tomorrow.....maybe Bed Bath and Beyond....but who knows.......OK fill it up....1 time"

My Two Cents...

Uncharacteristically I'm a bit more harsh on this one that it seems most people are. Please remember SiLVER and everyone else, i'm not bashing the group by my comments.

Audio - 7 - Audio was tiny sounding and just sounded too high. Would have loved the levels to be lower on the audio so when someone's talking then a loud noise occurs it dosen't seem like it's going to explode the speakers. Other than that it's fine and if you are dying to see the movie by all means get this one as it's definately hearable and minus the complaints I laid out, it's fine. I dont regret grabbing this release.

Video - 7 - Video is a bit bright and the first couple of minutes the AR seems to not be able to make up it's mind which is aggravating but it's only at the beginning and finally settles down. It is a cam so I do cut it some slack but there is just some minor things that equal to a few points being taken off. Good release though and definately watchable

Movie - 10 - Usually a movie puts all the funny lines in the commercials and that's ALL THE FUNNY LINES! But not here folks. This movie only shows about a tenth of the funny lines if that many. I had to rewind in parts because I missed something being said because I was laughing so hard. I'm a huge Owen Wilson fan and a huge Vince Vaughn fan and have loved them both for a long time. This movie puts my two fav actors in one movie and delivers 100%. This is my Alien Vs. Predator, Superman Vs. Spiderman, Tito Jackson vs. Jermaine Jackson, etc...

Get this movie you will absolutely love it. Also, there is a guest appearance I wont ruin but it was awesome. I want more movies by these two! WOOHOO!!11one11

V: Pretty good for a cam, bit too bright in outdoor scenes, but still good: 7.5

A: Nice and clear for a cam, can hear slight laughter throughout, but not loud enough to ruin it: 8

M: Fairly good, although not as funny as expected: 7

The sync issues some ppl are getting on disc 3 (i never found any), might be due to the fact that there is a dummy file stuck in disc 3 (showing a 2.00 GB size!)

reminds me of a uti cam, that's how highly i speak of this rls

as a cam:
video: 8 - little bright at parts, but easily correctable on the tv. other than that, sharp and stellar in general
audio: 9 - superb for a cam...didn't notice much if any audience noise, nice full sound
movie: 8 - laughed my ass off, and the gratiutious nudity was welcomed as well

am i the only one who has sync problems all the way thru cd2 and cd3? from the beginning of cd2 to the end of the movie the audio is way off... and the video is like really small.. i cant play it in WinAMP.. i cant only watch the mpeg in WMP... and it's a small picture.. i had this same problem with War of the Worlds... anyone have any idea what the problem could be?

Movie: 9 (great comedy.... i loved it!)

This was a good release, the only thing that was a little anoying was for the first 3 mins the camer was zooming in & out and croppin the hell out of the pic, there was also a slight angle.

All in all a good release and worth watching.

Based of full film & being a cam.

Really good release. Sound and Video are a bit echoed but best release to date in my opinion. The movie content was halarious. This is one I will definitely go to movies to see. I think it is worth the $8.50 to see in theaters. This release is worth the DL. Good job SiLVER.

Just to justify my rating this 10/10/10
First of all Im judging this up against other cams.
The video is the best cam I havbe ever seen in my life and I have been dling for a long time now. Second this movie is by far the funniest movie for 2005 by far and I did not hear one single laugh for a cam thats perfect. and lastly like I said this movie is the funniest movie of the year. I laughed through the entire thing.

This was a CAM???? Holy F'n shit!!! OUTSTANDING and I'm STILL laughing my ass off... Funniest movie I've seen in a LOOONNNGG time. Video was great (still can't believe this was a CAM), audio was okay. Heard some audience throughout and no serious sync problems. Movie was f'n awesome. Vince Vaughn is THE MAN!!! Come on guys... rating a cam this high is just pointless... you're telling me that with an HD TV DVD being a 10 that this is an 8?

Are you high?...
If that's not the case then look at the ratings and tell me that the quality is about a 5... no better.. compared to a DVD. After all that is what the rating system here is based on.

When the hulk came out as VCD a couple years ago, there were people ranting about the cam quality there too. It's still a cam and still not very good. Certainly not an 8... Think about it


::EDIT:: Maybe everybody else understands the rating system (unlike yourself) and is comparing like-for-like, not rating them on some grand scale with cams down below 5 and DVD's 9s and 10s. Check your facts before you start your flaming! - NS::
