Question Are there 2 versions of the movie Fast and the Furious??

Ok, the best release of Fast and the Furious so far has been 08.21.01.The.Fast.and.the.Furious.unsubbed.TC-TWCiSO....until now.

Fast.And.Furious.WS.DVD.SVCD-THCiSO - is a kick ass SVCD DVD Rip of a movie that doesn't come out on DVD for 2 months (Jan 2nd). The picture quality of this on my 60" TV kicks ass and is VERY close to DVD quality.

Anyway....something that me and a friend of mine have been debating about is the music in the movie. Now, in the TWCiSO Telecine version you have 2 Crazy Town songs playing during the restaurant/fight sequence at the beginning. The songs are Butterfly and Think Fast off their album.

Now in the THCiSO DVD rip they are completely different songs. When the guys are fighting it's some song that goes like "watch your back, watch your back!!" My friend says the songs that play on this DVD rip are the ones that played in the theater when we went to see it. So why would the TWCiSO Telecine (which is captured from the projector right?) have different music than this DVD rip??

In my opinion, I like the 2 Crazy Town songs MUCH BETTER than the ones on this DVD rip. I'm just wondering why there are 2 versions of the movie.

Yeah, I'm aware of that. I'm just curious as to why there were some theaters somewhere that had music by Crazy Town in it and some other theaters and the DVD have other music.

the one with messed up music *including crazy town*, was a workprint i believe. Usually don't have music to begin with, it was added in i think

?did you even read the .nfo/?

QUOTE FROM THE .nfo
"Too late for the svcd, so here is the divx.
Hope you like it and are happy now. Hmm btw, i noticed the dvd has different music than our telecine, perhaps the tc is a wp?"

and I count 5 ver.
And Im not too happy with TWC's DiVX

geesh dont you guys know anything bout dvdripz? They always have something new and updated at most times.

The "Crazy Town" music was in the theater version(not just the workprint). And a new one is implented in the dvdrip(which by the way sucks compared to the first)
