looks good from the sample, though some are saying pdvd - were that the case id expect something of a TC look to it, which (only from the sample avi), I cannot see - a dvd-r rls will proove either way....

from sample looks like same source as the oldies svcd doesnt look like retail rip to me.

but i could be wrong.......

either must be a very difficult film to encode properly, the group is crap, or this isn't retail, because i really expected it to look nicer...colours look kinda faded, picture isn't that sharp (looks a little messy...) sound is very good though, as far as im concerned.
...any chance this is a mislabled dvdscr? im still expecting a good looking release nearer to the official dvd release...

...had a chance to watch it properly, and id rank it as 5.5/7/6 -sound really is quite good, but im still sticking with my opinion on the video, quite messy, but still better looking than tc i think... its still very watchable though, but im hoping this will have a proper release before long.

Yeah i agree with that, picture doesn't seem very sharp, or something, little blurry, i realy can't describe it very good, best way to say it is, i think, it looks like a TC...
And i find it VERY strange that still no dvd-r has been released, that makes this release, along with the quality flaws and the previous mislabeled dvdrip, a little suspicious!

Don't know what film you guys have been watching? But it's not the same one as me.
3.0 / 4.0 / NA - is not a fair score (not even watched)
Picture is not to sharp, but no different than the majority of avi / xvid releases. Colours are fine, sound is good.

Picture 7.0
Sound 8.0
Film 5.0

this is a telecine.. theres even a hair on the right side of screen for 20 minutes on the first CD, since 37min untill 56min..

the backgrounds are always too blocky for a DVDRip and the
colors seems a bit washed up.
sound is ok but slightly out of sync at the end of CD2..

..its watchable tho, I just hate to be fooled by
mislabeled releases

i dunno what u guys are on about

i didnt find anythign wrong with this release

maybe i wasnt concentrating on the background, but i found it to be very good quality.

i was very surprised to hear that this was a TC
