rars and avis

hey i downloaded a movie of are we there yet dvd perfect quality but when i got the download it had loads or rar files and when i open each one up i have a single avi file in each all around 733,000kb (the size of the movie) i don't know which one to use as the ones ive tried to watch are all out of sync. when ive downloaded other movies and they just have the avi file not the rars n all that stuff it works fine but i dont know what to do to get the movie with right audio sync etc.. the movie plays fine cept from this, any help would be appreciated thanks.

start to unrar with filename.rar, not with filename.r01, 00 or whatever

just right click over the first rar and select "Extract files" ,it will extract the whole avi file to the selected location..

just right click on 1 of the rars only 1 ,thenextract to destination of your choice but all this information is in faq so go there for more info,if that doesnt help then come back to newbies and try again

hey thanks for all the tips and that its just when i extract the files and the avi file is in my destination every time i go to watch the movie, the audio is out of sync. this had happened both times ive had to do this with two movies. any ideas? thanks for the help guys

Try the latest stable xvid binary and if you still struggle, go with FFDShow (jack of all trades, master of none)

hey fanx guys i done what you all said on a different movie n it works fine it was the file out of sync as even the sample was before i extracted lol. cheers
