Thumbs down Review: I Am Legend (2007)

What a fucking boring movie. The ending was shit too.

Final Score: 3/10

Agreed

Was like Castaway but with the exciting twist of an Alsation instead of a football.

Movie fuckin sucked ass. Fuck this shitty fuckin movie. It had great potential... but the whole thing feels so short. Either a screenplay writer got fuckin' lazy or the studio was approaching budget.

I would watch a directors cut (hopefully with at least 20 more minutes), because the depth to which this film explores some of the aspects of the character's life are way too shallow, and could have been developed into something memorable. (Avoiding spoilers)

Film should have been 2 to 2 1/2 hours long. What a waste of time.

Short?

More like it was too long. It felt like I sat through the equivalent runtime of Gandhi or ROTK:EE.

The opening had promise (besides being a blatant Ford and XM advert). Then it quickly dissolved in to some bizarre 28 Days Later clone.

Absolute shit, thank fuck I didn't pay to see this drivel in a theatre. I want my time back.

I liked it...apparently Warner is trying to make a sequel

Lets analyze:

One guy, alone in NY, figures himself to be the last man on Earth, fighting mutated former people, finds out that he isn't alone when he meets a woman in the streets, then dies while the woman lives to realize that all is really well.

Can anyone here say OMEGA MAN?!?! Though Chuck Heston went out with class.
