Certainly doesn't look like a VHS screener!

Audio is a bit quiet, video is a bit blurry and flickery. But best out i guess.

Personally i don't care. Movie looks like balls.

Based on sample looks a nice copy, a little dark and the contrast is flickering a little, audio sounds very nice !

It's not all that bad .. i definately agree with the nfo POT .. Quality def. isn't like a vhs screener (as stated above), Audio is pretty damn good - but i'll wait for a better release. As for the movie, i saw it hours upon hours ago at the theater, and i really enjoyed it.

I liked this movie. Saw it in the theatres. Audio on this release is fine on my pc and dvd player not quiet at all. Videos is a tad blurry for my likings but it's watchable. I grabbed this one but I think I will wait on dvdr or a tc for the keeper.

I have downloaded this 2 times from 2 differnet places and CD1 go's out of sync by about a second 15 mins into the movie, it stays like this for a few mins.

picture is way too blurry to compare to a VHS screener like in their nfo, but no i'm not bitchin. it's a little dark, too, though that's forgiving if they could have just made it alot sharper. anyhow not bad at all for saturday morning. i dislike will smith though am eager to see the movie but i'll wait for a better release.

Yeah I saw this movie in theatre's to.... makes a huge difference actually going to watch them, instead of watching this releases.... but hey it saves alot of money and time to go see shit....

Try getting the higest end camera there is.. find some rich kid to help. and rels a TS w/ dts, see if they want to steal the audio then? maybe too do a avi lol.....

seen movie in the Ultra screen looked blury on that too but over all the film was good

not sure about the rest of you..but I thought even with the issues that the FRA release had a much better pic. This pic is pixelated to hell. I just got through watching the whole thing, and too much camera movement. And my God the people walking through the picture is out of hand. Constant shadows and its watchable but unenjoyable with all the distractions..

In Regards to the whole 'VideoCD Lost their cammer' comment, I am not certain if they did or did not, but someone else commented on people assuming this because they did not release Anchorman yet. Well, if my facts are correct, I believe VideoCD is based out of Quebec, and in Quebec some movies aren't released until the week after they are in the U.S. I know that Anchorman was not released until the 16th in Quebec. Past releases that have been postponed by VideoCd which seem to be because of different release dates include The Terminal and White Chicks. There is a possibility that they did lose their cammer, who knows? But I would have to say they didn't release anything in the past week because of different release dates for English / French.

Enough about that, This release is good for now, DTS sound is great. Video is definetely watchable.

I agree its average, picture is pretty poor, watchable though, but its too shaky and grainy at times

Sound isn't as great as everyone is making either, (and i wish people wouldn't refer to it as DTS sound, its mp2 from DTS source)
Theres a buzzing at times and it doesn't do my DPL2 system any favours.

What’s the deal with the shaking I just watched it and is it me or did the screen shake the whole time???.... and the pixilation made the movie on the boarder line of not watch able I would stick with the FRA release its much darker but its very clear for a cam and the hiss in the audio goes away if you mess with the treble level

This is decent for a VCD release. The audio is quite, needed to crank the volume, but the quality is great. Audio does go out of sync for about 5 minutes or so, in the middle of CD1, then comes back in. Saw this on the big screen, it lacked a little detail there too.

Heads and people, in a theatre imagine that. There aren't many releases that don't have a person's head in it. But anything is better than Cold Creek Manor, where you can hear the camera dude munching on pop corn.

To my eyes, and on my TV, I perfered this release compared to the FRA release. They are both VCDs, and the quality fits accordingly, just the FRA has nasty audio.

The video is definitely watchably, but certainly not terrific even for a TS.

The audio is excellent, I hope this kind of quality continues.

I just finished watching the movie. For a summer blockbuster popcorn flick it can't be beat. I wish it had stopped to be a little more contemplative at times, there were hints, but not enough to create real depth.

Anyway, it was an enjoyable experience all around.

If you compare the fra and pot releases.. they are the same video source.... just that pot used something like tmpenc to either zoom in or stretch the top and bottom ... if you look at both.. in the scene where he tackles the robot about 7:55 into the movie you will notice someones head.. with curly hair on the right (your right) side of the screen.... it's there in both releases.. and I am 100% positive they are from the same silver source.. just pot got hold of the dts discs.. to resync the audio....... the picture on fra is 10 times better than pot... probably because they trashed the video quality by stretching it out.. either trying to cut out some of the heads.. or trying to make people think they had their own video source as well............

But aren't they the ones bitching in their nfo that some "elite" group was gonna strip their dts audio and use it for their own release???????? hmmm..........

After watching both releases.. i'm revising my rating........

just checked this out definately not the blockbuster I'd thought it'd be but its good nonetheless.

Theres a few dark scenes where you cannot see exactly what your seeing but you make it out.
Audio-7 volume's a little low, dont hear any hiss or anything so good
Movie-8.5 - few twists but still pretty solid sci-fi storyline.

Watched this one last night. Very watchable on my TV. Picture was a little grainy but I think this is a great release so early on. Video was grainy but very watchable....sound was excellent once you turned it up a bit. Good summer action movie also. 6/8/8 ...nice job POT keep up the good work. Thank you.

I just watched this via the XBox, streamed to TV and must say it was highly watchable. I did not miss a line due to the audio being really great, and while the picture was a little blurry (only slightly) and the part used for the sample shows the most camera movement of the whole movie (weird choice for the sample with that fact), I did not miss one detail, even in all of the action scenes (and the tunnel sequence with a bad copy could easily be enough of a scene to judge the release on).

Considering the roadshow for myself in Japan doesn't happen until Sept. 18 (http://www.foxjapan.com/movies/irobot/), this was a great way to spend a Sunday night.

Thanks POT for a great, highly watchable release that I can eventually ask a nice, cute Japanese person to in two months

For TS: 7.5/9/9 (I really enjoyed the movie... maybe because I love the genre of 'dammit I'm right and everyone else is a fucking idiot', and Will Smith did pull it off nicely)

Also, as a movie, the CG was perfectly melded. The robots could have been stand-ins, you wouldn't know. Nothing overdone (except maybe near the end final battle with the climbing... no spoilers there)... and I never read the book so I can't do that kind of argument.

right after i finished getting this rls the svcd was rlsed. i was mad, but did not feel like waiting to watch. i ended up very happy with this rls. it cleans up nice on a tv.

i did not think this movie would be that good, but ending up enjoying it (A LOT)

i suggest either of pots version as they both seem fine.

the picture was a bit off but not bad - not the best rls i'e seen all round but the best rls of this film

the sound was quality although had to turn my volume right up - it was far too low for y liking

as for the film - well what can i say, quality, loved it
