new camer or new camera? that is the question whatever it is my hats off to you centropy looks very good for a telesync nice warm colors not faded or anything alittle bit of a flicker but you dont notice that much unless you look at white objects or backgrounds the sound is perfect DTS what more can you ask for :::CLAPS:::: i have only noticed the top cropped and thats not even that much are we going to see a new wave of telesynces from ctp? no more side crops just upper or lower i hope so because i like it more
it does get grainy but its a cam only when a lot of action happens but it dosent get out of hand not enough to bitch about

9.0 looks like a dvdrip sometimes i swear..LOL/DTS/didnt watch it yet but i give it a 9 on the boobie scale..LOL

After watching CD1.

Excellent picture quality. Minimal cropping just a bit on the top and the bottom but next to none on the sides. Bright and vivid colors with a crisp, sharp video. Little flicker, but nothing too harsh.

Audio is direct, and perfect as usual.

Great job Centropy.

Thanks again Centropy for bringing anothe r great rls to us. This one is very good for a TS the quality is good. The people complaining about blurrieness you hardly notice ANY blurrieness throughout the movie. The sound is damn good aswell obviously DTS and lastly the movie is not bad, been waiting on a grp rlsing this.

Thumbs up standards

Thanx again guys for continuing to raise the bar of standards on TS'. Hopefully other groups will try (key word being TRY) to follow and improve their quality on TS. I was not going to comment, but looking at the ratings on this release so far, it's obvious members of other groups ( *cough*VideoCD*cough*) are attempting to lower the ratings on it. But really lets look at the quality of this particular release and compare it to any (I mean ANY) TS out there, its the best TS out so far.
Keep up the good job guys!

Quality on this looks great. I haven't watched it all the way through yet, so I can't rate it properly.

One question: Why are the CD images labeled "VideoCD." Same thing with the Incredibles release, except on that one, one disc was labeled "VideoCD," and the other "CTP."

Since I'm not a "sceener," I don't know, but maybe some naughty little boy or girl has defected and hasn't quite gotten around to labeling their disc images properly.

They're not, the images are labeled, ctp-ass1.bin and ctp-ass2.bin.

Anyways, lovely copy, could easily pass for a TC, all the dark bits look fine when it watched on a TV, and most of the slight blurryness goes too.
Best TS ive got in a while.

Errmmm.... No.

Either burn a CD and then look at it on your PC, or mount the image, and you will see that the label for the CD (i.e. what is displayed for the particular drive in "My Computer") is VideoCD.

Watched this last night after dumping to a DVD (i hate changing disks)

Video 8
Audio 8
Movie 7

Movie was not bad at all. Very entertaining

Little blurry ? yes, it is on the PC, but on a TV screen its crisp (well was on mine)
Sound and video impressed, as one person has said already, this is not far from a dvdrip.

didnt notice the VideoCD thing that people are talking about so can't comment.

Great release Centropy - well worth a download

Ok you Centropy cocksmoochers, this isnt the greatest TS, lets get started with the horrible and bright flicker esp with the beach scenes, rather annoying, just like in the early releases of Troy.
Sure it looks good otherwise, but they lost there good cameraman awhile ago, used to film it on a slight angle to avoid the straight-on screen/lens reflection that this TS suffers.
Nice to see Salma's boobies as she bends over, she is such a slut!!
But all and all a damn good release.
7/9/8...would be a close 9 if it didnt have the flicker and brightness.
And another thing you n00b's say it has DTS sound...well no it doesnt DTS is 5/1 sound, this is a stereo source like from a hearing imparied jack..........

Audio Coding mode : MPEG-1 or MPEG-2 without extension bitstream
Sampling Rate : reserved = 2
Audio application mode : Not specified
Number of Audio channels : 2
Bitrate : 224 Kbps
Number of Audio streams : 1

very nice

This is a very nice release. Aside from the flicker, the video quality is superb and 2nd to none. Good audio as usual, can't even remember the last time CTP released bad audio (which is a good thing).
Once whoever does film their releases gets the right setting down on the camera, the flicker will be gone. hopefully before Blade3 heh...

Why cant people post normal stuff on here anymore, and im personally sick of the, Its too dark, its too light, why doesn't my TS look like a DVD, posts we seem to get on here recently.

I'd like to see someone name a TS that wasn't too dark, too light or didn't have any flicker and isn't an Animated film, there isn't many that i can think of.
You get the feeling on here you cant compliment a release without getting accused of being down on your knees, enough of the playground insults.

No need for another release of this until a DVD rip of some sort, or a very good TC.

Awesome release. One of tbe best I have seen. I am having problems with syncing on the second CD. Anyone else experiance this? PM if you have suggestions.

Posted by Twirlzy on 11-30-2004 11:40 AM:

Nice rls.

Although i think some peole are not judging fairly becasue its ctp.

After watching this on the big screen:

There is a slight slant, only noticable during the "New Line Cinema" logo really, after that you can't tell.

Doesn't appear to be alot of cropping.

Picture quality is best a TS can come. BUT there is a flicker, constantly throughout - I dont know how people are not noticing it. Slight motion blur suring action scenes. Colours washed out abit but expected for a TS.

Sound is great, clarity is awsome - on sync for me no problems.

So, 7/8/6

movie was good. enjoyed it, just a film you can put on for a good time, not too serious and funny too!
