Just finished putting the VideoCD version onto DVD for the kids LOL. Just proves that if someone says things like 'Night Vision Goggles' etc, the groups respond with better and better releases, might hold off on this, DVDrip will probably be out tomorrow LOL

This summer might not be packed with the same fun as last summer, imo.... but this summer the scene is putting out summer movies with great quality! These early TC copies are proof! I'm a Potter nut, so I'm in heaven here! Thanks to Chakra, TUN, VideoCD for giving us some outstanding quality so early.

LOL yeah..go mpaa. Sure bust the people that give us shitty cams, but totally ignore the ones giving us these kickass TC's. This is a great copy, but i myself will have to stick with the TS (seen the movie three times already)

ok i have now seen the sample of all the recent tc's along with the rls for kill bill vol 2 van helsing and day after... saw sample on this: rated as 9/9/7 as a TC
with that said, i wanna leave with 1 note, if u watch every once in a while a few groups will get a good source within a week of each other, if u think about this it may have been some1 looking for the best group to release their tc's through, my thought alone, but it seems possible some1 sent out emails to these groups and the winner got the harry potter tc, and if it is chakra deserved it!

emm this is just me but i do beleive the 'dots' are on the telecine as well so who ever is doing this.. if it is a single projectionist (from russia is the rumor) they better have more then one job ;/

it just shows lately that grabing the first release is always not the best option.... sometimes holding off a week is best to see what better quality arises. VideoCD version was not bad but as stated on all the above Chakra has come up with a minter

great colors, sharpness and audio. this should hold anyone off until the retail comes about. movie wasn't too bad at all, definately better than the first two...darker.

Can't get this version, ISP is playing up. Reading all of the posts it seems like the version to get, might have to wait for an ftp

this release of Tarru Notter is pretty damn fine.

I though VideoCD's was lovely but this one is the winner lol

very very nice. video is pretty much perfect, colors are awesome, not faded in any way, looks damn near dvd quality. only problem is a tiny bit of grainyness, but thats probably my pc, on standalone it probably looks much better. audio is perfect as well, only complaint is the bass seems kind of low, but that might just be my shitty pc speakers as well. overall great.

Wow, early this year it was attack of the Killer Cams.. Not a TS to be seen by anyone.. Now telecines are popping up one week after 1st rls's.. Granted not all are the best.. But this one is above average..Props to Chakra.. i think last one i saw from them was Russian Rotk..And that came after like 5 other rls's.... Telecines are in season and i'm counting my blessing u all should too.. It won't last trust me Enjoy this fine film.. in best quality yet

the rotk telecine when it came out was slightly better... but anyone remembers how the pirates of teh caribbean TC's looked. ? they looked nigh on perfect ,.... oh well ..

What a copy this early on. WOW. Im getting very spoiled...and so are my kids. They will watch this one 40 times before the dvd release. This copy is great.

wow, not much more to say with this one... we can only hope TC's like this will continue, probly the best ive seen, and if not, i dont remember the other... with that said gotta give a 10/9/6 - dont like potter that much, what can i say... this will prob be my keeper even when dvd hits

:: after watchin the full realease, i saw constant color changes like they cut the film every scene change to master it, it is obvious, at best parts its what i rated before, now after the full watchin i rate 8/9/7, best potter yet, still not my style ::

Nice rip, clean video & audio , only gripe is the huge black bars , it's cropped on top & bottom more than it should be.

great release but when i encode to dvd all of d1 is outta sync, thought it was just me but others saying same there appears to be a 1 sec more audion than vid though you dont notice on the svcd only when you convert

Man this is DEFINATELY the one to get! It is near DVD quality. The video is excellent and so is the audio. Chakra really did an Awesome job on this one. One of the BEST LOOKIN Telecine's I have seen in a long time. Great Job Chakra

Just found an Internal by Diamond. It is Xvid, but looks to be the Chakra release from the sample, but it looks sharper picture

Just grabbed the Diamond version. Slightly better picture quality, and AC3 sound, which is nice

Chakra's SVCD, Replica's DVDR, and Diamond's Xvid are all from the same source.
And they all kick ass.
As someone said, this is definitely the release to get (in your format of choice, I went DVDR) until the retail DVD!

I have the chakra rls and it jumps every so often. Its noticeable but doesnt do much to the film except it is a bit annoying to me so i stopped watching it to see if i could fix it. Any ideas what the problem would be or is it the same on all of them?

This is a very nice rip from a russian source.

Never seen a telecine this good. Almost as good as a DVDRip.

DMX: The jumping in your video might be because of a codec problem. Make sure you only have one MPEG2 codec. My video doesn't skip at all, I use PowerDVD.

yeh, the quality of this release is good, slight pixelation in the rain with the quiddich match... some of the colours i found were a little dull on my stand alone. but still very nice copy
