Another nice release from maVen.
Video colors are somewhat dull but it could be the sample. Great AR, 95% of the screen and can't complain on that.
Audio seems NICE.

the video is very clear but the colours are a bit washed and a bit bright but messin with the graphics card can sort them

Great Release. You see what I was talking about? You (Maven) have set a standard for high quality so when a couple of your releases don't measure up, there will be dissapointment throughout the masses. No biggie, we still appreciate the hard work you guys do overall. Nice to see 2 realeases in 1 week from you. Hopefully this is the beginning of a trend.

Haven't seen any sync issues whilst scanning though the release but gonna def wait until someone who has seen it in full to give their view, I don't want to waste a dvd-r on the release if its out of sync.
Darn, still no Monster House, but this looks really good. I had just watching the cam last night and stopped. Now, I can really enjoy the movie and this release looks nice. The video is crisp and very natural looking. The sound is good like always, this is the standard benchmark for a TS folks.

Ran it through MPEG4Modifier (quick fix) with the following settings, Display AR - Custom [ 2.60 ] : [ 1 ]

EDIT: I just downloaded and mine is way out of sync...all the way through....gets worse as the movie goes closer the end....??? Oh well!
the samples in perfectly in sync here, and i tend to notice even when its slightly out cos it pisses the hell out of me.

Just watched this all the way through.
Video: Bright, colourful, clear, only see two heads pop up slightly (non-intrusively) during the whole movie. [8]
Audio: Clear, only a tiny bit distortion in a few occasional places. [7.5]
Movie: I laughed. Didnt live upto my expectations, but then again, this isnt my kind of movie. [5]
But this just proves... When it comes to quality, maVen are first class every time.

That was odd...after I converted to DVD and played on my Bose...it worked fine and no sync issues....great rls...on a really shitty movie..lol

Watched entire release, and NO sync issues. 3 times there was a bit of static for a second, and a few pops, but audio was nice and direct. Video was nice. AR and colors were good. Just a bit washed out on the color side, but not bad. Clear, and flicker free. Not even pixilation on the fast motion scenes. You can see a head in the pic twice during the 3x minute mark. The movie stunk bad. This is my worst rating of any movie this year.

Quality is really good for this movie. But here is something I noticed. I burned this for my mom onto a cdr and she was playing it in her new philips player. When watching we would see moments of fast movement then a little slow down. If that makes sense. Anyone else get this?

SOME FUNNY PARTS
Video - 8.8 (Cleaned it up with Adobe Premiere Elements then converted it to DVD format and watched it on my DVD player)
Audio - 8.0 - Static bursts occured about 3 times in the last 10 minutes of the movie, but other than that, no problems. Also, I noticed NO sync issues.
Movie - 7 - I seemed to like this movie more than most on here. I actually got a good laugh out of it, especially the "bed" scenes. I didn't take the movie as seriously as many of you seem to have. I knew it was basically slapsitck / super hero comedy (and how can you be critical of such a silly concept?), so I knew what I was going to be expecting.

ill sum it up funny movie NO sync issues so people who do have sync issues have 1 of 2 things shitty dvdrs or a shitty pc or dvd player simple as that overall great quality pretty dumb movie but i liked it

Very Nice Rls, Watched it on a 40 inch and it looked great. Sounded great threw out the movie and there are no problems.

A good version of the movie. Unlike SA - its all there.

Fun movie, a bit overacted (especially Eddie Izzard) but that was expected, Ivan Reitman (Ghostbusters, Junior, Evolution, etc.) doesn't do very serious.

Decent flick & this movies version of how a super hero does their thing (both in & out of uniform) was a nice twist.
Finally got around to watching this on a standalone, Great overall quality!

Audio / 8 no sync issues but as stated before a couple of static bursts in last 10-15 minutes, nothing to worry about though
Movie / for what it was ment to be i would give it a 6. It was stupid, light-hearted, slapstick comedy. Worth a watch and mid-as-well watch this one becuase its better than most TC's Great release maVen

edit: oh yea, and i didn't have any sinc issues at all.
The video was excellent, it could almost pass for a dvd. Even the night scenes were clear as day. Audio had a few problems. I didn't notice any sync issues but it seemed kind of echoy in the scene where he first meets G-Girl. Still clear enough to make out.

I know its not just me, this release is out of sync from 1:24:01 all the way to the very end.
X-Men 3 was like this too, and another one (I forget which) where it goes out of sync for the last part of the movie all the way to the end. And yet, it still doesn't get nuked!

Judging from the sample:

Near clear quality, an excellent TS so early from the release date. Can ALMOST pass for DVD, it just needs to be a bit smoother. Color gets a bit dark, somewhat of a flicker but you ignore it after the first 10 seconds.
A: Audio is near clear quality as well, props to maVen. It does seem to go a bit in and out of sync after the 1hour24min marker.
M: 8
A film I actually enjoyed that has just come out! It's a nice cute movie to see with your girlfriend ,and quite funny too.

I noticed NO sync issues and guess that the software used by the people that did have those issues didnt have the proper codecs installed or something. This is your typical great maVen release and i give it a 9 for video, an 8 for audio because of the hissing at the end, and a 6 for the movie cause it did get me to laugh at one part.
yeah, all us people that are having sync issues have the wrong or out of date codecs. right. all of us.

it's out of sync at the end, and the sound aint the best. pic is a bit grany and cropped/stretched, but the colours and contrast are good.
still not a bad telesync, it's totally watchable. and this movie doesn't deserve much better.
