I think this release just proves how this scene has changed so much over the last few months.. No offence to this group, the release does look SWEET....

However, its a TS , and too many releases of this for most people to even keep count .. (is this the 9th? :P )

There are TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many groups releasing too many versions of the same thing , so we get a bunch of poor to garbage quality and a couple nice ones..

This negativity is not aimed at this group, your encode looks great but its a TS and 9th release I would expect something super duper at this point... Is it true that lucas is NOT gonna do a screener? or possibly its just taking a lot longer?

There is / has always been that fine line between quality and speed , surely there are versions out there that any joe blow who knew encoding stuff could crank out , hence the reason why these groups exist .. (connections to get releases before "we" do and release) ..

As a whole I believe because of the numerous groups out there all doing the same releases, the overall quality of the ts's available to us are much lower then they were 3-4 months ago ..

And this SVCD format of ts's is too overplayed and just gives groups the chance to increase the look of a version that is quite poor at the expense of all our bandwidth .. Saying its "free" isn't really true anymore, its free on a money value, but the time it takes and effort to grab some of these monster sized releases is an expenditure of sorts / payment of sorts / investment ..

ANyways thats my 2 cents .. (again no offence to this group, your encode looks quite nice , this isn't a bash against your release)

U know, *Insert Goddamn Group Name Here That Will Be Asterixed Out Later* may be "semi out of the scene", but their shee-ot is still getting heavy rotation of recodes. But I'm sure that *Certain Unknown Group* appreciates all the attention!

This is a plan old simple recode guys, if you can see that, then try playing with tmpeg a little more, its really not difficult.
Its sad to see stuff being recoded time and again, 9 RELEASES !!! a good whack of which are recodes, I can understand it, when they IMPROVE up on the quailty of the release, but jesus, this is no better AT ALL, just on two cds.

Seems we can all see where things are heading now a days, such a pity,........ such a pity

Class is in, Time to get Schooled:

1) Have you looked at at least the JPG? Cause a TC does not produce the glare effect that is very evident in the sample/jpg.

2) Have you ever seen a TC with bad AR? Doesn't happen.

3) This is a recode, plain and simple, should have been nuked X5 for the extreme stupiditiy of this release.

4) Have you ever heard of De/Re Multiplex, if it took this long for this retarded group to get this RECODE out, maybe they did do one thing right and take the audio out of another better source, IE a PROPER TS

To anyone with eyes and a brain you can tell this is a recode, but I'm sure you wouldn't know that, because your still getting shit recodes of releases, yes I know

If you take a movie that is 352 x 240 (w x h), and the AR looks perfect, and you resize it to 480 x 576 (w x h) obviously it looks stretched out on the computer and then you gotta come in here and say "I gots ta skool you fools about this movie, the AR is whack", well the movie is gonna look excactly the same when you burn it and watch it on your TV. It doesnt matter if the AR is 1:1 (SVCD NTSC), 5:6 (SVCD PAL), or 4:3 (VCD), cause theyre all gonna play as 4:3 coming out of your dvd player

I have been coming to this site for a few years and it seems that the reviews are getting stupider and stupider. The ppl can't spell not to mention write coherently. Has anybody heard the expression variety is the spice of life. I am so sick of ppl putting down other ppl who are actually trying to do something. Instead of lamers just putting their two cents in. If they cant even spell right they must be lame. So, its not like u r married to one group and have to be faithful. ******** is gone, get over it, life goes on. We need all the groups that can try and invest their hard earned time into putting something out for our enjoyment. Has anybody ever heard the saying if u cant say anything nice then dont piss and whine! I would have never posted anything ever on this site but because the reviews are getting stupider and stupider, i felt compelled to finally post one. So, the moral of this story is - just go form your own release group and contribute something to the scene. As for the complete luantic statement that more groups equal shit, i think its better than it has ever been. I have been ripping movies for many years. At times when i read the posts, i think i have been working on puters for more years than many of these ppl posting are old. If the scene is going to get better we need more groups trying to help out, not less. Quality will improve with more practice as practice makes perfection. I wonder how many of u ppl out there have ever heard of some of the concepts. A great many of u need to go back to grade school just to learn how to spell. Dont post anything if u cant spell because it only shows your ignorance. In closing, do u do unto others as u would have them do unto you. Or do u just talk shit. I unrared it, burned it with fireburner...shows the time on my apex but wont play..have to vcdgear it then burn with nero to work.....wtf?......fireburner always worked...and i'm no burnin newbie either :P

thats cause you have to edit the cue the right way before you burn. some groups tamper with the cue files so people have troubles, some say they dont do it on purpose, some say they do.. i say they do, but besides the point, always open yuor cue file up to edit it if it needs editing before you burn!!

That usually happens then it cant find the cue...this burned perfectly just didnt play...never saw anything like it...like it was a different bitrate or something.....showed it like a vcd and it was a svcd..maybe it just was 'fireburners fault....no biggy
