wow, nice colors. I can't think of anything else to say except that. Audio is there, not the greatest but def not the worst. If I had not seen it in theater this rip would have been great to watch. Still might let the little lady watch it.

Great quality, very clear, very sharp, colours are good, dark bits are watchable, framed and cropped very well too, looks like a slight angle, like the cammer was slightly too close, but still very nice.

Sounds is a mixed bag, def direct, but, kinda echoey, and strange sounding, althought it is Stereo which redeems it somewhat in my eyes.

i used to think like that to. Rlsgroups do their best and we get it for free. But that just aint the truth. A lot of groups do it for the respect they get and the good site axx. And why should i be happy with all those previous 8 releases that wernt watchable at all. I really appreciate the effort but watchable is the main arguement for a rls.

video is truly awesome, sharp, clean, bright, colourful.... what else could you need.

audio has some problems, slightly crackly and some weird noises in it - but still obviously direct and easily listenable

v - 9.5 (ive never seen a telesync as good as this)

m - 7 mindless action film, nice explosions.

Haha u make me laugh! after viewing this whole release well actually turned it off because that Garggling sound was doing my head in, the video is spot on! no doubt about it alot would try claim it as a TC but seriously audio ratings would be a 5 or 6 nothing to write home about video 8.5

Also i think all this re encode and crying should stop, these groups should share there shite as im sure someone has better audio and maven coulda just asked for it and there release would be perfect! After watching the complete release, the video is nice, the audio on the other hand is something I would not consider to be maVen's best, it crackles in spots, also for large portion of the movie it has a hiss.

maVen good work on this, but certainly could have been much better, video is cream of the crop, not best I have seen, but certainly within top 5. Audio I'm afraid needs alot of work.

this forum is for posting about movies, not posting about how much you think others are idiots, move on people, if you think you can do better then do so, other than that come in rate the movie quality and move on. and personally I have the biggest dick cause when I was living in the caves of 10BC I had internet and was downloading movies about creation!!

agreed with most of above.

picture is nice, probably nicest out, though not far ahead of others. audio is horrible. constant distortion through whole film, especially noticeable in quiet scenes. example, check around 25:40 of cd1, or 19:20 of cd2. it nearly drowns out the dialogue.

Is everyone here really this stupid? This is a re-encode of a crappy release. The audio is beyond annoying with the damn hissing and the video is way too dark to even be close to the screenshots. A half blind 80 year old man could see and hear the difference. This is NOT what the screens advertise.

a: 7 it's ok not brilliant but you can hear the terrible dialog
m: 5 it's about what you can expect, poor story and lots of action and effects. This telesync does not do justice to the effects.

2nd CD was out of sync for me, i tried it on my PC then streamed to my Xbox360 with Transcode. It went out of sync just before half way on the 2nd cd.

Well, after watching this release, I have to say that video is the best so far, with great and rich colours and minimal noises. On the other hand, audio is a bit lame but at least, you can recognize what they say. Also, in part of this rls, audio goes out of synch but it is not very noticable so I guess, that's ok. Anyway

V: 8 (9-10 only DVD Rips)
A: 6 (not the worst but could be better)
M: 9 (best part of all three)

ha ha ha ha ha, not a fookin clue have you, this release group is one of the tops, at least thier's is a FULL release, not the INCOMPLETE crap from others, what's the point of an incomplete even if it's dvd quality? Pointless imho!

This will do until a dvd rip comes out.

For Maven, thank you, much appreciated, hope the knob jockeys that hate you so much will realise that not everyone wants to tickle thier rings!

Rating the release as it is...

Video - 8
Audio - 4
Movie - 6

The audio problem is relatively easy to fix using ZN's release as follows:

Import both releases completely onto the time line in your NLE of choice (I like Vegas but Premiere, Avid or Pinnacle will do just as well).

Move the start of the ZN release to line up with the corresponding frame of the Maven release.

Time stretch (shorten/speed up) the ZN release from the last frame to meet up with the corresponding frame in the Maven release.

Deleted ZN's video and the part of Maven's audio that overlaps with ZN's.

Voila... A full release with Maven's great video as well as complete, in sync, nice quality audio. If you're feeling really flash any one of the NLEs I mentioned above will allow you to overlay those 3 items of French text with the appropriate English as well...

With regards to the alternate slating/ass-kissing going on above... I think that people shouldn't complain if a release has it's shortcomings. Both of these groups have taken serious risks in getting these releases out and I'm grateful to them for giving us the tools we need to make a pristine copy of this movie less than a week after it was released in the cinemas.

I hope the instructions above are of some use to people, they worked well for me anyway.

V - 8: Pretty good video. Almost looks like telecine quality.

A - 6: Audio isnt that great. Pretty hollow & there is not that much bass. No sync issues.

M - 8: The movie was good. Good action scenes, ur basic plot. 2 thumbs up

movie 3 yep part 3 was an impossible movie..

No disrespect, but why does everyone keep saying the audio is so good? It's really fucked up! It isn't watchable at all. Sure, the picture looks really nice, but I really can't watch a movie with a constant buzz in it. It sounds like there is a really big fly behind the camera the whole time. Guess I'll have to wait for a decent dvd-rip.

I agree with Yloony. Tryed to watch the movie got into it 45 mins and the sound was just doing my brain in had to stop. Shame coz picture is good with good AR and good colour.

I have to disagree with ppl saying that the video is perfectly crisp and clear - not even on a 1024x768 television. It's nice, but it sure ain't perfect - barely pretty.
