You know, sometimes, transcoding is better than recoding. CCE does not always gives a better result than shrink.

Yeah of course thats why there were 3 nukes before this all interlaced cause transcoding is better yeah that makes a ton of sense. NOT.

I don't get where you guys come from. I've been super nice when I heard the same thing not too long ago. I'm really nice to my friends when they show me their horrid DVD-Shrink jobs. But it's not true. Transcoding is for people that just don't have 1) the time, 2) the knowledge, 3) don't care about the quality. But in no way is it better than CCE.

But you did use the word "sometimes", but I have not run into a single time that "sometimes" applied myself. Anyone else find this?

Transcoding is and will never be beter than encoding. If you think otherwise you really must get some new glasses. But if you have a good example please show us.

And concering the movie: very good job Replica you show them how its done.

Although i dont agree on the use of Transcoders, its entirely possible that they could in the future become better than Encoders, especially at low compression rates.

In most of the tests ive done, CCE has won, but at 90% plus, with certain movies, its very hard to tell the difference, even on 1920 resoultion.

Anyways, nice to see Replica with the first good release of this.
