anyone know anything about the new KISS dvd player that is networkable? I'm looking forward to getting one of those have not found them in the U.S yet, just in the U.K.

Anyways get an Xbox or Shuttle PC I say. Shuttle PC especially good as you can get a cheap one with giga lan and wireless and it'll play other formats. And importantly if you build a Shuttle you can choose components like so it supports high definition etc.

The best DVD is APEX $35. plays pal and ntsc. Anything you give it, it plays.

The $35 Apex does not play any MPEG-4 variant.

i did have 1 of these but i found it to have problems playing dvdr films,the network side of things was ok you could play a movie from you pc hard drive via the kiss dvd player.hope this helps.

Phillips that I have plays DIVX, XVID, AVI and Ll the mpeg formats--says on the box you burn it, we play it. Great investment
