Anyone know this movie?

This broadcast isn't subbed/dubbed in english at all, So I can't watch it, But It looks interesting.

This one guy sees #'s over peoples head, This monster looking thing as shown in picture. It looks kind of goofy, Not the best acting but interesting, Also people passing out in the street. Looks like they were being attacked.

Wasnt there an advert where some bloke was walking and saw numbers counting down above peoples head , when it reached 0 they died (could have been a music video actually)

The movie's called Death Note ("Desu nôto").

Received all kinda rave reviews so I watched it...til about half way and gave up. If you grab it make sure you have the proper'd subs, the original release had auto-translates that made it impossible to work out what the fuck was going on and why (though the propers don't help that much either).
