So much pain pouring

also watermarked and blurred clock and b/w scenes

Definitely a screener. A bit grainy, but I think this is how the movie was shot if I recall. I saw in theaters but loved it so much, I watched this one. There are NUMEROUS black and white scenes as well as a property message for fox. It's definitely a screener. It looks R5 but its simply an unpolished screener. Best out for at least a month. Retail in the UK is September 15th if I recall correctly. Therefore, this will be the best out until at least the end of August I imagine. It's definitely a watchable and good copy. NO technical flaws. Only the annoying B&W and messages. However, I easily lived with them, as you can.

Very nice release this.
Pic is slightly grainy, as mentioned, but that is how it was filmed.
The b&w bits aren't really all that bad, but they are pretty regular. The onscreen msg was more annoying imo.
Slight blur at the top right (serial number, I assume), but that in no way effects it & honestly, you hardly will notice it at all!

Overall, a very nice screener for an awesome movie. I think I actually liked this more than the original 29 Days Later. Yes, really!

V 8 (b&w & property of)
A 8 (clear & in sync)
M 10 (frikkin awesome!)

I must be getting less tollerent in my old age. I tried but gave up trying to watch this release. The picture is grainy...too grainy to be considered the way it was filmed. Some of the wide angle shots are almost blocky.

The property warning is on and off every 5 minutes, it's only dolby 2.0, which makes a big difference in a movie like this. I never made it to the first black and white scene. If I knew it had those I wouldn't have gotten it to begin with ;0)

The most annoying thing for me was the blur in the corner covering the serial number. There is nothing "slight" about it, my eyes kept getting drawn back to it, and it was the perverbial straw on the camels back for me.

I'll wait for the retail rip.

6/7/?

Ratings based on DVDSCR standards

V-8
A-8
M-9

Video is a bit grainy. The B&W scenes, blurred serial number, and warning messages, don't bother me so much, but does take away from the rating.

The audio sounds pretty good.

The movie itself was interesting... I was expecting so much more from the film, which is probably why it didn't turn out to be as great as I thought it would. Asides from my expectations, overall a great film.

For some reason though, I really wanted those damn kids to die! hahaha
